‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Brawl: Is Porsha Williams Pressing Charges Against Cynthia Bailey?
The Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey were reportedly involved in a physical altercation while filming the eighth season of the Bravo reality show. However, while Williams was reportedly taken to the hospital after being kicked by Bailey, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is not pressing charges.
“Everyone just wants to put it behind them,” an insider told E! News on Tuesday. “There’s a lot of filming left to do and they just want to move forward.”
Filming on The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 8 began earlier this summer, and so far, claimed E! News, the series has welcomed two new housewives, Amiyah Scott and Kim Fields. Following the shocking departure of NeNe Leakes, Scott, a transgender model from New Orleans, and Fields, an actress, joined the returning members of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, including Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, Porsha Williams, and Phaedra Parks, for season 8.
Recently, a source told E! News that while Scott would not be seen on The Real Housewives of Atlanta in a full-time housewife role, she had already begun filming with the women of the show.
“Amiya is a friend of Kenya’s, and she was at an event that Kenya threw last night. So she filmed last night. Other than that, she’s having conversations with production. Talks are happening but it’s too soon to say what will come of it.”
E! News also alleged Claudia Jordan was leaving the Real Housewives of Atlanta after starring on the show for just one season.
As for what led to the Real Housewives of Atlanta brawl between Williams and Bailey, a source revealed the following to Radar Online:
“No one really knows what the arguments was about, but Cynthia lashed out and kicked Porsha in the stomach while wearing heels! Cynthia showed she’s just like everyone else on the cast and has a temper. She’s got some fire to her. Cynthia’s lucky Porsha has grown up since the Kenya incident and behaved herself. Otherwise, there would have been some weave on the floor!”
Williams and Moore were infamously involved in a heated on-set exchange, which turned physical during a taping of The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion special a couple of years ago.
The Real Housewives Of Atlanta‘s eighth season is expected to premiere later this year or early next year on Bravo, but no premiere date has yet been set.
