Leah Messer Posts Serenity Prayer On Facebook Again

Leah Messer has shared the Serenity Prayer on Facebook for the second time in the last week. Although her first posting of the prayer, which is used in (but not limited to) Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, caused quite the stir online due to its addiction ties and recent allegations against her, the Teen Mom 2 star doesn’t seem to mind.

On August 29, Leah Messer reposted the prayer to fans.

After many assumed Leah Messer’s first post of the Serenity Prayer was her way of admitting to her alleged addiction issues, Leah Messer set the record straight in a separate post just one day later.

“Articles was printed over me posting the Serenity Prayer. FYI… The ‘Serenity Prayer’ isn’t just a prayer for people who have an addiction. That is like saying the ‘LORDS PRAYER’ is only for Christians. My ONLY addiction is MY CHILDREN.”

While Leah Messer claims she is not addicted to drugs, she’s certainly not doing much to prove her cases. In addition to sharing this prayer twice in one week, Leah Messer recently went to treatment for a few weeks to address her ongoing issues, which she claims aren’t drug-related.

Despite Leah Messer’s denials, her ex-husbands, Corey Simms and Jeremy Calvert, have both expressed their concern in her possible addiction issues. During one episode of Teen Mom 2, Simms, the father of Leah Messer’s twin girls, 5-year-old Ali and Aleeah, told her he felt there was a “drug problem” and that she was hiding it. Around the same time, Calvert told a friend he felt there was an addiction issue going on with his then-wife.

After the latest episode of Teen Mom 2 aired last week and showed Leah Messer saying her goodbyes before treatment, Simms took to Twitter, where he explained the basis for his allegations against the troubled reality star.

“Idk why I’m tweeting this because I honestly do not care what people think or what they say about me but anyways. There is a reason for everything that Miranda and myself have said or done. We simply want the girls to grow up in a safe and healthy environment. There is a lot of things that has been told to us by very close members of her family that lead us to believe the things being told are very much true. If we didn’t care about the girls or the situation we would obviously not have anything to say or do about it.”
