‘Girl Code Live’: MTV Girls Nessa, Carly, And Awkwafina Return With Spin-Off Of Girl-Talk Show

Girl Code Live 2015 is a hot new reality series that is set to turn up the heat tonight on MTV’s new Monday night lineup. MTV strives to bring its younger audiences sizzling content that keeps their loyal fans engaged. Girl Code Live will air weekly in several half-hour episodes.

We could say it’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before, but this new comedy series is a spinoff of MTV’s 2013 Girl Code and is similar to Tamar Braxton’s The Real. Hosted by Girl Code stars Nessa, Carly Aquilino, and Nora “Awkwafina” Lum, MTV viewers can expect the girls to talk about everything one can possibly imagine — except, they’ll dialogue in front of a live audience. Some of the topics covered will be among a range of important issues involving women. Expect a lot of gossip, raunchy sex talk, and topics related to relationships with men — or women.

In 2013, MTV Girl Code viewers enjoyed topics related to arm pit waxing, boy crushes, foreplay, and even masturbation. According to MTV’s news release, it was a spin off of Guy Code.

Produced by MTV Networks, the new late-night talk show will feature celebrity guests, famous musicians, and stand-up comedians. Viewers will also be entertained by a number of games and activities that are sure to stimulate and engross the MTV audience.

A Bit About The Cast

Carly Aquilino is a comedian who enjoys more than 470,000 followers on Twitter. She sometimes sports candy-colored hair. Recently, she opened up about her new boyfriend, SNL‘s Pete Davidson. The two have been a couple for almost a year. According to Wild 106.7, she changes her hair color when something traumatic is going on in her life.

“We change our hair when something traumatic happens to us, and obviously I’ve been through a lot of s**t.”

Nessa, which is short for Nessa Diab, is a talented radio host and TV personality who is known for her exceptional interview skills. She has been an MTV staple as a host on Teen Mom, Real World, and Hot 97, according to her bio. Nessa’s unique look and hip-hop style, along with her strong interview skills, came to the attention of MTV producers, who reached out to her to be a part of the original Girl Code show.

Awkwafina, whose real name is Nora Lum, is an Asian-American rapper from Queens, New York. She is a talented singer and trumpet player. Her background as a child born from Chinese and South Korean parents gives her an interesting perspective on life. In 2014, she released her first solo album, entitled “Yellow Ranger.”

Now, don’t forget to join the party tonight at 10:30 / 9:30 central on MTV. The Inquisitr reported that another show will make its debut on MTV tonight: Todrick, a reality show that centers around YouTube sensation Todrick Hall.
