Rihanna And BFF Katy Perry Party Together In NYC Amid Taylor Swift Diss Track Rumors
Rihanna may be having the best summer ever, but no vacation is complete without a girl’s night out with your closest friend.
Rihanna reunited with BFF Katy Perry in NYC on Saturday with the duo hitting up one of New York’s trendiest nightclubs, OPUS 51, People reports.
Rihanna and Perry were photographed exiting the same car together before entering the nightclub in the city’s trendy Meatpacking District.
Rihanna donned a flashy ’60s-inspired patchwork mini dress completely with matching pink and orange suede heels with fringe. Meanwhile, Perry kept the decade-look going strong with a pair of high-waisted, paisley-printed pants and a loose-fitting white crop top.
Rihanna was in town to celebrate the wedding of her close friend and stylist, Sonya Benson, over the weekend, taking to social media to share a few loving snaps with fans on her personal Instagram account.
“Yasss!!!! Congrats to my beautiful and crazy @sonyabens on tying da knot,” Rihanna wrote to her followers on Friday, adding, “F****** love you girl!!!”
Similarly, Perry made the most of her NYC vacation by visiting the new Whitney Museum to share a few abstract photos with fans.

The duo’s late-night adventure comes just one day before Hollywood’s hottest celebs prepare to gear up for this year’s 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.
While it’s unclear if either Rihanna or Perry will be in attendance at tonight’s show, fans are eager to see if host Miley Cyrus has any jabs planned for Video Of The Year nominee, Taylor Swift.
Swift and Perry’s ongoing feud made headlines in 2014 after Swift revealed in an interview that her diss track, “Bad Blood,” was aimed at another female celebrity.
Not long after Swift’s interview went viral, Perry fueled speculation that Swift’s “Bad Blood” track is about her by referring to the pop songstress as “a Regina George in sheep’s clothing.”
Perry and Swift’s ongoing feud coupled with Katy’s close friendship with Rihanna sparked rumors of a collaborative diss track on the “Wildest Dreams” singer, although neither Rihanna nor Perry have confirmed those rumors.
A source close to Rihanna and Katy Perry tells Hollywood Life that there could be a Taylor Swift diss track in the works from the “B**** Better Have My Money” singer.
“Ri’s protective of Katy and bugged by Taylor’s growing good-girl clique,” the source explains, noting that the track will likely be an “aggressive club anthem with a video that’s just as brutal as ‘Bad Blood.'”
Despite the claims, Swift’s rep revealed to Gossip Cop that Swift “can’t be bothered” with rumors of an impending diss track from Perry.
“Taylor focuses on all the things that she’s grateful for and what she can do for others. The rest [of it], the gossip…she doesn’t pay any attention to it. It’s time wasted that can be spent doing positive things.”
