Kourtney Kardashian Walking Away From ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’? Not So Fast!

Kourtney Kardashian’s summer was devoted to being seen and looking fabulous in the wake of her breakup with Scott Disick. As her first summer as a single mom draws to a close, two different, but not necessarily impossible, rumors have sprung up around Kourtney Kardashian and her relationship with Scott Disick.

The most long-standing rumor is that Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are on their way to reconciliation. All signs suggest that rumor is false.

The newest rumor is that the bitter end of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s relationship will be a major plot point on the next season of the family flagship reality series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and Kourtney is furious about it. Radar Online reports that Kourtney Kardashian is on her way out of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and she might have to use Scott Disick to get her way.

An unidentified source allegedly told Radar Online that Kourtney Kardashian has “wanted to leave reality television for some time now, and does not plan on resigning onto another contract once this one is up,” but it may be a long time before Kourtney can walk away. In February, TMZ reported that the Kardashian ladies signed an $80 million contract for three seasons of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and an option for a fourth. That means it could be almost 2020 before Kourtney is free to leave the show. For now, according to Radar Online, Kourtney must settle for issuing an ultimatum, if Scott appears on the next season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kourtney won’t.

“Kourtney told the producers that they basically have to choose between keeping Scott on and having her continue on. She does not want to talk about the breakup on the show. She knows that they want to make this into another plot for the upcoming season, but she is not willing to compromise on this.”

An indication of lingering bad blood, or a desperate move by Kourtney to get herself cut from the cast of Keeping Up with the Kardashians without being in breach of contract?

As it turns out, probably neither. Rumor busting site Gossip Cop reports that sources close to the production of Keeping Up with the Kardashiansfirmly deny claims that Kourtney is trying to get out of her contract. Gossip Cop rarely gives details about how they disprove rumors, but insist that any story claiming Kourtney Kardashian is looking to leave Keeping Up with the Kardashians is “completely false.”

Although at least part of the rumor might be true. Hollywood Life reports that Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s breakup will feature in the next season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The Hollywood Life report did not mention Kourtney’s reaction, but it’s likely that she’s known all along the break up would be included in the next season.
