Maria Menounos Voted Off ‘Dancing With The Stars’ [Video]

And then there were three. Maria Menounos was voted of “Dancing With The Stars” last night leaving just Donald Driver, William Levy, and Katherine Jenkins in the running for the Mirror Ball Trophy.

Menounos earned perfect scores from the judges on Monday but it wasn’t enough to save her from elimination. ABC reports that Menounos earned all 10s during her first dance, the Argentine tango, and after her second dance the judges were ready to declare her the winner. But America disagreed and voted Menounos, and her dancing partner Derek Hough, off the show.

Menounos said:

“I learned so many things. I learned how strong I was, to persevere… I want to thank everyone here. I want to thank Derek and my family and everyone who voted for us.”

Going into last night’s show many people were worried about Katherine Jenkins who injured her back earlier in the week doing the samba. But Jenkins said that the injury healed over night and she was ready for some more dancing.

    THIS IS WHY I DON'T WATCH THIS SHOW HOW DO YOU GET THE HIGHEST SCORES AND GET ELIMINATED. BY VOTING FOR UGLY FOOTBALL PLAYERS.

    Thanks for the recap, and YES, I DO think Maria and Eric should have remained on the show, as they were the best of the best. After they were eliminated last week, I think anything could happen, because America is obviously off their rocker. Normally I would find out who was eliminated before I could see the show, because I didn’t have time to watch during the week. I certainly love the fact that with Auto Hop I can automatically skip commercials on most PrimeTime Anytime recordings, because I save nearly 20 minutes off the DWTS so I can watch before I go in to work at Dish. That way I can discuss the results and not have to cover my ears while running away.

    I'm still bumbed that Maria and Derrick got kicked off they should have won the trophy in my opinion, I just loved watching them dance. Derrick is the best at coming up with new dances and new moves he rocks and so does Maria because she is such a good dancer and such a sweet person.
