Latest Details About The iPhone 6s Launch

Apple has officially confirmed the September 9 launch date for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. After plenty of speculation, including confirmed reports from Forbes, Apple has indeed targeted September 9 as the day they will unveil the latest in the iPhone series.

Apple is planning for their biggest launch party in years.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, there were rumors of a company booking the Bill Graham Civic Center for a “trade show” for the time period of September 4 through September 13. Apple has confirmed that they have booked the center as their site to unveil the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.

The news came via Forbes just hours ago with much anticipation from consumers waiting to see what is next from the tech company.

Judging from the leaked screenshot, seen here thanks to Business Insider, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will closely resemble their predecessors. It is not about what is on the outside, but what is on the inside that makes a device special. And Apple implemented several changes under the hood of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.

Among the new features is the integration of the A9 processing chip, powered by iOS 9.

Think faster speeds, better task management capabilities, and a powerful iPhone that can do what most other smartphones and tablets cannot do. This includes the earlier generations of the iPad.

The introduction of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus is also the introduction (via Forbes) of the A9 chip and iOS 9. That said, do not expect many glitches or problems here. Apple ran a beta version to test for bugs and any foreseeable problems. The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus should run just fine with the newest processing chip and operations system.

The upgrades made to the camera will enhance the Apple iPhone photographic experience forever.

The news confirms that the much discussed 12-megapixel camera is installed in the newest additions to the iPhone family. iPhone 6s and 6s Plus users will be able to have a bevy of photographic options. This includes the ability to record video in 4K.

Also on the way is a sensitivity upgrade for Apple’s Touch ID. The improvements made will help with security and touch features. And let’s not forget the Force Touch integration that has long been rumored to be coming in the next wave of iPhones.

For those who are always concerned about battery life, the estimated total talk time with the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will be slightly better than the iPhone 6.

All of the rumors and speculations involving Apple’s next smartphone have all been confirmed. It makes the upcoming September 9 date one of the most anticipated days in quite some time.
