Chelsea O’Donnell Leaves Home To Live With Her Birth Mother

Chelsea O’Donnell is making headlines once again after she decided to leave home for a second time, this time to go live with her biological mother.

According to TMZ, Chelsea’s biological mother, who has been identified as Deanna Micoley, gave Chelsea up for adoption back in 1997. Radar Online went on to add that Deanna, a stay-at-home mother of four, never knew that Rosie O’Donnell had adopted her daughter, who at the time was named Kayla.

Micoley went on to say that she was forced to give Chelsea up when she was allegedly “drugged up on heroin” by her then-husband, and it was at that time that she claims that Rosie O’Donnell obtained custody of Chelsea through what Micoley claims was a “dodgy adoption.”

Micoley claims that it wasn’t until Chelsea contacted her father last November that she learned who had adopted her daughter, and she admits that she has been in contact with Chelsea through Facebook and text messages. In those messages, Chelsea reportedly claimed to have had “issues” with Rosie.

According to ABC News, in light of these recent events, Rosie O’Donnell’s publicist has released a statement which states that “Chelsea made a decision when she turned 18 that she wanted to go to her birth mother. This was her choice.”

TMZ stated that on Monday, August 24, Chelsea’s 18th birthday, Micoley drove from Wisconsin to pick Chelsea up. Rosie reportedly advised Chelsea not to go with Micoley, but she went ahead and the two drove back to Wisconsin. Reports state that Rosie has not only cut Chelsea off financially, but she has also refused to turn over her birth certificate and social security card.

Considering recent reports stated that Chelsea O’Donnell may have been suffering from a mental disorder, it could be a good choice to keep such important documents in a secure place for the time being.

According to a recent report by the Inquisitr, after Chelsea O’Donnell was first announced missing, it was also announced that Chelsea was “very mentally ill,” and that she had gone off her medication. It seems as if Rosie and Chelsea have had some trouble for a while now, and since her daughter was found with an alleged heroin addict, Rosie has been struggling to figure out what the best course of action should be.

It was first believed that Chelsea O’Donnell had gone off in search of her birth mother, but sources close to the situation said that even though Chelsea had reached out to Micoley, her birth mother had nothing to do with her running off at that time.
