Free Access To ‘Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3’ Beta For PC Gamers, Now Live For Xbox One And PC


Call of Duty fans all over the world were on their toes for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta release for Xbox One and PC. As the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3beta for PlayStation 4 just wrapped up, those at the Xbox One and PC platforms are eagerly awaiting for the release of the Black Ops 3 beta on their end. But the wait is finally over. As of writing, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta is now live for Xbox One and PC gamers.

Those who pre-ordered Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 in Xbox One and PC are now able to download the 15GB multiplayer beta, but it seems that Call of Duty fans over at the PC platform has a little edge.

Good news for PC gamers who have been avid supporters of the Call of Duty franchise, you might actually have access to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta even though you might now know it. If you’re at the PC platform but you haven’t pre-ordered Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, there is still a chance that you can play the Black Ops 3 beta for free.

Forbes reports that if you purchased Call of Duty: Ghosts, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, or Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on Steam, then you will immediately have access to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta on PC. Head over to the Games section of your Steam client and you will see the Black Ops 3 beta waiting to be downloaded.

Sherif Saed over at the VG24/7 confirmed that he owns both Call of Duty: Ghosts and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on his PC, and even though he didn’t pre-order Black Ops 3, he has access to the Black Ops 3 beta on his Games tab on Steam.

Treyarch announced over at their Twitter page that the Black Ops 3 beta for Xbox One is already live as of today, but countless of Xbox One players were already experiencing hiccups downloading the multiplayer beta. Xbox One Support was quick to answer to the problem and according to them, the issue with the redemption of the Black Ops 3 beta codes should now be fixed.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta for Xbox One and PC will be live from August 26 to August 31, if all goes well and as planned. Treyarch has just announced that those at the PlayStation 4 will be able to get another extra day to access the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta, and those at the Xbox One and PC platforms are hoping that they get that extra treat, as well.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will officially release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 6.
