All ‘Star Wars Battlefront’ Players Will Be Able To Unlock The Deluxe Edition Bonus Items

Like most modern titles, there will be more than one version of Star Wars Battlefront available for sale when the game launches this November. In addition to the standard release, Electronic Arts will also offer a deluxe edition that includes several pieces of bonus equipment to use within Star Wars Battlefront.

Thankfully, however, none of these items will exclusively require players to purchase the game’s more expensive deluxe edition. In a message from the official Star Wars Battlefront Twitter account, the publisher has confirmed that gamers will also be able to unlock all of the equipment inside Battlefront using in-game currency. Owners of the deluxe edition of Star Wars Battlefront will simply have account access to the gear from the start.

Gamers can acquire many weapons that are iconic to the franchise with the Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition. The premium bundle of the game includes Han Solo’s signature DL-44 blaster as well as Ion Grenades and the Ion Torpedo, both of which are designed to deal maximum damage to enemy vehicles. Of course, it is now known that these weapons will also be available for purchase within the game.

Those that pick up the deluxe edition of Star Wars Battlefront will also gain access to a few extra emotes. At this point, all that has been confirmed is that only the deluxe edition weapons will be unlockable for in-game credits. That means that the bonus emotes could remain exclusive to the Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition.

In addition to being able to instantly gain access to new weapons, gadgets, and emotes within Star Wars Battlefront, those who pre-order the game will also receive the title’s first DLC pack for free. As the Inquisitr previously reported, the “Battle of Jakku” will feature an exclusive map that is set on a new planet that will be introduced in the upcoming theatrical release of Star Wars: Episode VII.

Hoping to clarify some features of the game, EA has compiled a list of the most commonly asked questions that the community wants to know about Star Wars Battlefront. While answering these points, the publisher revealed that the custom Battlefront console bundle won’t be offered on Xbox One and will thus remain exclusive to the PS4. Furthermore, the classic installments of the Star Wars Battlefront series will also be heading only to the Playstation Store for now.
