Kim Kardashian Pregnant And Having Plastic Surgery Procedures?

Kim Kardashian’s fuller-looking lips have fans speculating that she may undergoing plastic surgery procedures while pregnant with her second child with husband, Kanye West, a boy.

Us Weekly reports that Kim Kardashian recently posted a photo of her “pregnancy lips” on Instagram, which sparked some outrage among certain fans. Many critics called out Kim via Instagram, saying that there is no such thing as pregnancy lips and that she obviously had injections to plump her pout, much like other women, including her youngest sister, Kylie Jenner.

However, the site spoke with a registered nurse, Rand Rusher, who claims that pregnancy lips are entirely possible.

“During pregnancy, hormones can cause fluid retention, which leads to increased swelling. This can occur in different parts of the body, including the face. It’s a common occurrence. The lips usually go down after birth, but can take up to six weeks to go back to the original size.”

Back in 2012, Jessica Simpson tweeted that she had “pregnancy lips,” as well, while pregnant with her first child, daughter Maxwell.

As for the Kim Kardashian plastic surgery rumors, Rusher revealed the obvious, which is that any procedure to plump the lips on a pregnant woman wouldn’t be entirely safe.

“No one studies elective procedures on a pregnant woman. Any procedure that can be postponed until after pregnancy is wise. The benefits don’t outweigh the possible risks to the baby.”

As far as Kim’s gorgeous complexion to go along with her fuller lips, PopSugar reports that pregnancy can cause all kinds of beauty benefits. Dr. Neal Schultz explained the science behind the talked about pregnancy glow, saying it’s all very common.

“It’s not just the shape or features of the face that change during pregnancy… The high estrogen and cortisone levels responsible for that coveted ‘pregnancy glow’ improve color and texture of facial skin, but once baby arrives, the complexion returns to normal.”

Kim Kardashian has made no secret that pregnancy doesn’t always agree with her. When pregnant with daughter North West, she gained more weight that she probably wanted to, and just felt tired and uncomfortable a lot. The tabloids and paparazzi didn’t help matters by criticizing her weight gain and fashion choices through the entire pregnancy, as well.

This time around, Kardashian seems to be not as concerned about what the public is thinking of her, and has been letting her baby bump show in curve hugging outfits throughout her current pregnancy.
