Apple Plans To Launch iPhone 6c Soon

Is Apple planning to launch the iPhone 6c sometime in November?

According to the Daily Mail, Apple will release the iPhone 6c to the smartphone market near the start of the Christmas shopping season. The four-inch smartphone was a hit among users. Consumers who favor having a smaller smartphone with big capabilities should be thrilled by the news of the upcoming iPhone 6c.

Hints at the iPhone 6c launch comes on the heels of the pending September launch (courtesy of the International Business Times) of the iPhone 6s. The slated launch date for the iPhone 6s is September 9. It was recently reported by the Inquisitr that a different venue, the Billy Graham Civic Center, is rumored to have an Apple “trade show” booked from September 4 through September 13. With so many devices in the works for Apple, it would come to no surprise if there is some truth to the speculation.

The updated version of Apple’s phablet will be loaded with additional features and functions. This includes a massive upgrade to the camera, touch sensory integration, and the processor. The iPhone 6s is essentially a new smartphone. There may be similar upgrades made for the iPhone 6c, though some of the upgrades may be minimal, if for no other reason than to not take away from what is special about the sixth generation of Apple’s iPhone series.

What is expected about the iPhone 6c are the cool colors. Leave it to Apple to produce a yellow smartphone. Other colors to expect, though not announced for the iPhone 6c, are blue, pink, green, and perhaps your basic white and black options.

Look for the smaller iPhone 6c to pack a powerful punch. While nothing is confirmed, the A9 processor chip is expected to power the device. It will make handling applications an easier and faster task. Do you want to look at a YouTube video without the typical yet improved lag time? Processing speeds will be better for the iPhone 6c than it will for its larger predecessor.

The biggest selling point for the Apple’s small smartphone is the price.

Generally, a quality smartphone will run anywhere from $700 and $950. For most people who pay out of pocket for their devices, that is a month’s rent or mortgage payment. Even if you decide to pay for a device over a course of a two-year plan, that could break your budget. The rumored suggested price for the iPhone 6c is $549. Still a hefty fee, but very cost efficient when you think about the average costs for smartphones and phablets.

Apple seems to be looking at playing keep away with the smartphone and phablet for the next few months to come. The launch of the iPhone 6s will get Apple started as the iPhone 6c closes the show.
