Alison Brie And Dave Franco Engaged, ‘Community’ Star Steps Out With Engagement Ring
Dave Franco and Community star Alison Brie are reportedly engaged!
According to an exclusive report from E Online, the news of the couple’s engagement aren’t just rumors, as Alison Brie’s rep has confirmed the news. In fact, Alison stepped out at London West Hollywood for the screening of her new movie, Sleeping With Other People, wearing her engagement ring.
The news may be surprising to some who didn’t even know that Dave Franco and Alison Brie are a couple. The couple managed to keep their relationship low key, but they have also stepped out together on certain events. News of their relationship was reported in May 2012 when Us Magazine published a picture of Franco and Brie grocery shopping together. Back then, a source told the magazine that the two have been dating for “at least five or six months.”
In 2012, Alison Brie talked about her ideal guy, but in that interview with Elle Canada, she was reportedly single.
“I’ve just been looking for somebody I feel excited about. He better have a job and all of his teeth. Hair is optional. I like a little belly on a guy, but I’m okay if he’s fit. But, really, it’s all about the spark.”
It seems that Alison has found everything she’s been looking for in Dave Franco.

Throughout the years, there were several instances wherein tabloids and gossip sites speculated Dave and Alison had broken up. However, with the news of their engagement, it may be safe to assume that the two just wanted to keep their relationship under the radar, since we all know how being in a relationship with all eyes on you can be difficult for some celebrities.
Currently, Alison Brie is busy promoting her latest film Sleeping with Other People. She stars in the film together with Jason Sudeikis, who plays a womanizer. According to her IMDB page, she will be in two other movies this year — No Stranger Than Love and Get a Job.
Meanwhile, Dave Franco is busy with his 2015-2016 movie projects such as Zeroville, Nerve, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, and Now You See Me: The Second Act.
Now that Alison Brie and Dave Franco are engaged, the rumors of their breakup can be laid to rest.
