Will ‘Scandal’ Season 5 See Olivia Pope As First Lady?
What a long, strange trip it’s been for Olivia and Fitz, but is there a reunion in the future? A presidential divorce, and will Olivia Pope be the new first lady now that Mellie has been kicked out? Well, maybe there are some hints from Shonda Rhimes herself that will shed some light on the subject.
According to TVline, Rhimes has indicated that she finds the concept of Olivia Pope as first lady “intriguing.” Rhimes has finally paved the way with her writing that all of these things could happen, and fans are getting excited.

As reported in the Inquisitr, there have been stills released of Olivia and the president embracing outdoors on the Truman balcony of the White House, perhaps signifying that Olitz is finally going public, now that the first lady has been given the boot.
Design & Trend is reporting that there is more coming our way this season than just the evolution of the relationship of Olivia Pope and the president. This season will focus on rebuilding the gladiators. At the end of last season, Quinn wanted to kill Huck, but information has leaked that Quinn couldn’t pull the trigger.
“She’s in a really huge pickle. It’s a really conflicting emotion of do you kill your best friend/mentor/sexual lover/all the different various relationships we’ve been to each other and the man you lick every once in a while for kicks?” she said.

Kpopstarz is reporting spoilers spilled by Bellamy Young (Mellie) about what is to come this year.
“She’s having to regroup, but she’s sort of by herself completely, because everyone is alienated at this point. She’s never going to give up without a fight – I mean, shes Mellie! – but a lot of options are no longer open to her,” Bellamy Young added. “If she didn’t love him, that would be the better plan,” the actress added. “She hates herself for loving him, but she loves him! Oh, her life would be so much simpler if she didn’t! But she does.”

So, as with many spoilers, these can create more questions than answers. Is Mellie gone for good? Will Abby return to Olive Pope and Associates? Will Olivia be left with only two gladiators? What will happen with B613? And the most important question, will Olivia and Fitz live happily ever after?
