Watch Cincinnati Bengals Vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Live Online: NFL Monday Night Preseason Football

For the Bucs, 21-year-old rookie Jameis Winston — the overall Number One pick in this year’s NFL draft — will try to find a rhythm after an inconsistent outing in his first preseason game when Tampa Bay fell to the Minnesota Vikings 26-16.

On the Cincinnati side, Bengals fifth-year, 27-year-old signal caller Andy Dalton could be playing for his job this year. Despite getting into the playoffs in each of the last four seasons with Dalton under center, the Bengals were knocked out in the Wild Card round every time. In fact, they have not won a playoff game since 1990, when the team’s quarterback was Boomer Esiason.

For that matter, Bengals coach Marvin Lewis has been running the show in Cincinnati since 2003 and is 0-6 in playoff games.

But the Buccaneers franchise has had it even worse. Since winning the Super Bowl under then-Coach Jon Gruden in 2002, the Bucs have made the playoffs only twice, losing in the Wild Card round both times.

Not only has the playoff drought dragged on since 2007, Tampa Bay has posted only one winning season since 2008 and is 17-47 over the last four seasons. But with the drafting of Winston as the new face of their franchise, the Bucs hope to a least take the first positive step to turning their fate around.

In his debut preseason outing, however, Winston threw just three completions out of 10 attempts, plus an interception, in the first half, but he finished on an up note with a 76-yard touchdown drive.
