Vicki Gunvalson And Meghan King Edmonds Feud Over Brooks Ayers’ Cancer On ‘RHOC’
Vicki Gunvalson and Meghan King Edmonds are seen feuding over Brooks Ayers’ cancer diagnosis during a new sneak peek of The Real Housewives of Orange County. In the preview clip of tonight’s new episode, shared by People Magazine on August 24, Vicki Gunvalson defends her then-boyfriend, who claims to be suffering from stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
The conversation between Vicki Gunvalson begins when Edmonds brought up a series of comments she had made after a psychic questioned whether or not Ayers really had cancer, telling Edmonds, Tamra Barney, and Heather Dubrow, he didn’t “see” it. After, Vicki Gunvalson thanks Jesus, telling the women “he’s cured” in a joking manner.
“Don’t you ever question if he has cancer or not. I’ll take you down,” Vicki Gunvalson warns Edmonds, who insists she didn’t question the diagnosis.
“That was not what was relayed to me. How dare you go there. Is my mother still alive? Guess what, she’s dead. Are you going to question that, too? How dare you.”
Throughout Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Vicki Gunvalson and Edmonds have been at odds over a number of issues, including Edmonds’ failure to have a career, and her thoughts about Ayers’ cancer struggles.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Edmonds discussed Vicki Gunvalson’s former boyfriend’s cancer diagnosis in an interview last week, around the time the psychic episode aired. Speaking to E! News, Edmonds admitted she caused a lot of drama amongst the cast after spreading news of what the psychic had said.
“I’m the one who says what the psychic said and there’s a lot of fall out from that. I’ve been waiting for this episode since we wrapped filming. I think there’s going to be a lot of strong opinions both ways … I have my own suspicions and therefore somewhat of a conclusion. At the same time, I’ve been really affected by cancer and that’s why I think I feel so strongly about this because I see how cancer can rock everyone’s world. Not just close relatives, but everybody.”
Despite her suspicions, Edmonds and her husband, Jim, recently sent a letter to Vicki Gunvalson’s former boyfriend, letting him know he was in their prayers as he continues to battle the life-threatening illness.
