Is ‘Real Housewives Of Orange County’ Star Shannon Beador Finally In A ‘Happy Place’ With Her Cheating Husband?

Shannon Beador has certainly gone through a number of rough patches in her relationship with her husband, David, over the past two years. In addition to arguments and general relationship issues, the Real Housewives of Orange County star recently discovered her husband was having an affair. Despite this, Beador is determined to make things work and keep her family together.

“Some days I’m a little bit bummed about it,” Shannon explained in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “But bottom line is, it’s what happened in my life. If I’m on this show, I’m gonna show what’s happening in my life.”

Beador and her husband have three children together, and have been through a lot in the past few seasons of the reality show, including back in Season 9 of the Real Housewives of Orange County, when David threatened to move out of the house.

That being said, Beador is trying her best to move forward following her husband’s affair, and went on to state that they are now in a much better place in their relationship.

“I’m a confident person. And I don’t like to see myself when I’m crying or in a weakened state. That’s not who I am, but I focus on the positive and where my husband and I are today and where my family is today, and we’re in such a happy place… So, that’s what it’s all about.”

Since Beador was made aware of the affair, the couple has been undergoing therapy to help them move forward with their relationship. In addition to the therapy, according to Fashion & Style, the two have been going to church on a weekly basis and even went on a couple’s retreat to help sort through some of their issues.

With all that she has done to make things work with her husband, Beador added that it was at the retreat when her husband began to show his emotions.

“My husband doesn’t cry… He cried for the first time when we put our dog down. I saw him cry the second time at the couples’ retreat when he broke down, and the third time he welled up with tears was at our Valentine’s Day dinner. And at that moment when I saw him tear up, I knew that we were gonna make it as a husband and wife.”
