Jill Duggar Tweets Infidelity Sermon, Pastor Says Keeping Spouse ‘Happy’ Is Key To Prevention

Even though Jill Duggar is still living out of the country, she took the time to post a tweet on Sunday concerning her home church back in Arkansas. In fact, Cross Church is the one that she and Derick got married in. If you click on the link that she posted, it takes you to a live feed where anyone can listen to the most recent sermon.

The Pastor of Cross Church, Ronnie Floyd, delivered a message on the “sexual epidemic” in America. According to People, he especially hit on the topic of infidelity in a marriage, which really hit home for the whole Duggar family having to deal with Josh Duggar’s continuous scandal.

The Ashley Madison hack revealed that Josh had been unfaithful to his wife, Anna, and also having an addiction to watching pornography. Some very private information that was on the website shocked many fans of the former reality show star. Floyd touched on the perils of sex and the internet.

“We’re in a sexual epidemic of unprecedented proportions in this country. Nothing is secret now nor will it ever be.”

During his message, Jill’s pastor talked about how wrong it is to being both sexually and emotionally unfaithful to your spouse and how the person who was cheated on is now destroyed. The percussion of such an act is destructive, but he told his followers that keeping your spouse “happy” is the key to keeping both men and women from straying away from their marriage and into the arms of another person.

Ronnie Floyd feels that touching on these subjects is a part of educating couples about the Bible’s view on sex and marriage. He pointed out that in order to keep the enemy from attacking the sanctity of marriage, then keeping your other half sexually fulfilled is vital or that person will end up straying elsewhere.

“Both men and woman have their sexual needs met by someone, somewhere, somehow.”

When it comes to the Bible, both Jill Duggar and sister Jessa love to post verses from their favorite book and just recently, Jessa let it be known just how much she relies on the Word of God. Her latest post on Twitter was a photo of a Bible passage pertaining to sins.

“If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth, but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanest us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

It is doubtful that Jill or Jessa will speak out directly about this latest Josh Duggar scandal. The girls obviously want their brother to get some help for his problems and to truly seek God’s forgiveness. Jill Duggar is busy with her life helping the people of El Salvador right now. It may be a good thing that she is not in the States having to deal with this latest mess.

Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Seewald will probably take this sermon on infidelity to heart to make sure that their own marriage is strong enough from any outside attacks that the Duggar pastor had talked about.

What are your thoughts on the post that Jill sent out on infidelity in a marriage? Do you agree with this pastor?
