‘The X-Files’: New Spoilers Tease The Finale And More

The X-Files cast has been busy filming the series’ return to Fox this summer, and there are new spoilers now available for loyal fans of Scully and Mulder. Spoiler TV shared the titles of the last three episodes of the mini X-Files revival.

Spoiler TV shared that The X-Files Season 10 Episode 4 is titled “Babylon,” The X-Files Season 10 Episode 5 is titled “Founder’s Mutation,” and The X-Files Season 10 Episode 6 is titled “My Struggle II.”

The II is in place because the premiere is titled “My Stuggle.” Spoiler TV shared the first official photo from The X-Files premiere released by Fox earlier this month.

There has been many spoilers surrounding the six-episode season of The X-Files. Fans were shocked when they learned that Mulder and Scully, played by Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny, end their romantic relationship during the time before the series picks up the action.

TV Line also shared a bit of a teaser about the upcoming season, and there appears to be plenty to be excited about for loyal fans of the series.

“I’ve learned that the second hour of The X-Files’ six-episode revival — the Glen Morgan written/directed ‘Home Again’ — will pick up several months after the events of the premiere, and word on the streets of Vancouver is that the installment (featuring, as I previously reported, a Monster of the Week called ‘Band-Aid Nose Man’) is absolutely brutal. Some are already dubbing it one of the most violent X-eps in history.”

The monster of the week episodes are just as big a part of the series as the aliens are out there plot that was central to the series during its nine seasons and the following films. The series could not return without some evil creature for Scully and Mulder to handle.

Many former cast members have returned to the series for the revival. Scully’s mother will appear during Episode 2 of the series, and the return of Annabeth Gish was teased recently as well.

TV Line revealed that her character would be seen in one episode of the six episode X-Files season. Fans last saw Reyes during the series finale “helping Mulder and Scully’s evade capture in the New Mexico desert.”

Robert Patrick will not be returning to The X-Files. He currently stars on CBS series Scorpion.

Fox has set the premiere date for Season 10 of The X-Files. Fans can tune in to watch Mulder and Scully back in action on January 24.
