Teen Mom Jenelle Evans Arrested Again For Assault On Ex’s Girlfriend

Jenelle Evans was arrested once again on August 20, adding one more mug shot to the collection. It seems the 23-year-old Teen Mom 2 star can’t stay out of trouble.

Jenelle has had a history of problems with the law, only made worse by her apparent celebrity status. Having been the star of an episode or so of 16 & Pregnant, her life has been a roller coaster ever since. She has been struggling with raising a child and trying to weather the drama with ex-fiance Nathan Griffith.

After Griffith was arrested for domestic violence, it seems Evans has had to deal with a lot, and she cut him off. Her mother has been among those who have doubted her future, with Jenelle’s criminal record and a lot of old habits to break.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Jenelle Evans had even tried to turn her life around and keep her family together. Having graduated technical college, she had gained a degree of hope that her life would get better.

Jenelle Evans’ arrest for assault, as well as the ensuing drama with family, are not pointing to a promising future, though. Her ex-fiance Nathan had come by to pick up some of his belongings from Evans’ Myrtle Beach home and decided to bring his new girlfriend with him. Allegedly Evans thought she was being threatened, raced out of the house, and threw a glass at her head. According to WBTW, the victim claimed the glass had caused injury, and it is unknown if medical attention was necessary.

It was certainly enough to get the police involved in Jenelle Evans’ life once more. Her rep Johnny Donovan revealed what the Teen Mom 2 star had been thinking, according to Hollywood Life.

“I feel Nathan provoked the situation by bringing his current girlfriend to Jenelle’s house. He shouldn’t have brought his new girlfriend with him, he was very clearly trying to stir up trouble.”

Both sides of the issue could say they had allegedly gone too far. Nathan could have brought someone other than his new girlfriend to his ex’s home to help him retrieve his things. It is unknown whether or not Evans had been provoked, but her temper is well known and documented.

The Teen Mom 2 star had gone a while without legal problems, and her graduation had been a sign of better times ahead.

Now, with Jenelle Evans arrested once more, her future may not include being a surgeon like she’d thought.
