Two Female Teachers Busted On A Threesome With A 16-Year-Old Male Student: Prosecutors Still Cannot Make Up Their Minds Whether They Will Face Charges

Two female English teachers at Destrehan High School in Destrehan, Louisiana, were busted for having a threesome with a 16-year-old male student, but prosecuters cannot even make up their minds whether to charge them for this criminal act.

Rachel Respess and her partner in crime, Shelley Dufresne, were alleged to have committed this shameful act at Rachel’s apartment after the Destrehan-Helen Cox High football game September 12 last year.

According to ABC News, the student, 16-year-old at the time, began having sex with both teachers simultaneously until the early morning hours of the 13th.

Kenner Police Chief Michael Glaser said the threesome happened at Respess’ apartment at 1354 W. Esplanade Ave. Respess and Dufresne were both booked with carnal knowledge of a juvenile, indecent behavior with a juvenile, and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

The police said the two teachers were friends with each other and were also the victim’s English teachers. The first offender was his teacher for a year and the other was his current teacher at the time of the threesome.

According to Nola, this ménage à trois was exposed as a result of the young boy bragging about how he had been having sexual relationships with some of his teachers. This eventually led to an investigation with the involvement of detectives who gathered information regarding the whole event.

Respess, 25, admitted to having a sexual relationship with the student, but Dufresne, 32, gave no statement to the Kenner Police.

Glaser said investigators had ”no doubt that the women had sexual intercourse with the student.”

“No matter what sex the victim is, everyone should be outraged,” Glaser said. “You have an educator. Their responsibility is the safety and the education of children…. They should have known better.”

Respess is free on $7,000 bond. She is set for a status hearing before Magistrate Commissioner Patricia Joyce of the 24th Judicial District Court.

Dufresne, whose father is state District Judge Emile St. Pierre, pleaded guilty in April to obscenity for a separate incident involving sex with the same student at a house in Montz. She was sentenced to 90 days in a mental health facility.

Prosecutors still cannot make up their minds whether Dufresne will face charges on a status hearing in Jefferson Parish scheduled Nov. 20.
