Shia LaBeouf Lashes Out At Megan Fox Dating Rumors, Denies Causing ‘Transformers’ Actress’ Divorce
Shia LaBeouf is lashing out at rumors suggesting that he’s dating newly-single Megan Fox just days after sources confirmed the actress’ split from husband Brian Austin Green.
LaBeouf was caught on camera snapping at a photographer who waited outside of the actor’s home to ask him if he’s dating Fox now that she’s divorcing Green, Gossip Cop reports.
The photographer continued to press LaBeouf with questions about his rumored romance with his former Transformers co-star, seemingly accusing LaBeouf of being the reason behind Fox and Green’s split, causing the actor to last out at the dating claims.
During the encounter, LaBeouf can be seen attempting to exit his driveway while a photographer calls out, “Is it true you’ve been dating Megan Fox?”
LaBeouf immediately instructs the photographer to “get the f*** away from my f***ing house,” but the paparazzo refuses to leave and simply restates his question.
While LaBeouf and Fox were rumored to have hooked up on the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen while Fox and Green were broken up, neither Megan nor Shia ever confirmed having a romantic involvement with one another.
LaBeouf made headlines last month after he was spotted having a very public fight with current girlfriend and actress Mia Goth while in Germany.
While it was LaBeouf’s eyebrow-raising remarks and bizarre behavior that garnered worldwide attention, LaBeouf noticeably attempted to FaceTime Megan Fox following his nearly violent encounter with Mia Goth as documented in a video obtained by Entertainment Tonight.
News of Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green’s split made headlines on Friday after TMZ reports that the Jennifer’s Body actress filed for divorce just days after announcing her separation from Green.
According to court documents, Fox has cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their divorce and is asking for joint physical and legal custody of their two children, Bodhi and Noah.
A source close to Fox reveals to People that the duo split due to arguments that have ensued regarding the actress’ career.
“Megan and Brian’s split is a classic Hollywood story of two people in different stages of life and career,” the source explains. “Megan is young and hot and sought after for work, and she is eager to move ahead in her career. Brian wants more of her time than she can allow.”
The source also explains that the couple has been “at odds” over how to balance family life with Fox’s desire to take on more movie roles.
“She was overwhelmed with the children and her husband’s expectations, which got in the way of work responsibilities. They had many disagreements and arguments about her time at home, which led to problems,” the source concludes.
