Ramona Singer Slams Former Director Of Herve Lerge: ‘I’m Proud Of My Body At 50’

Ramona Singer likes to make an effort to look sexy. Every year when the Real Housewives of New York reunion comes around, she is always wearing the best dresses by the most fabulous designers. And it sounds like Ramona doesn’t really care what other people think about her choices in dresses and designers. While Singer enjoys getting dolled up for the reunion specials, she is actually going against one company’s wishes.

Recently, Ramona Singer revealed that she absolutely loves to wear Herve Lerge. Singer has often been spotted wearing these expensive dresses, but the former managing director of the brand — Patrick Couderc — isn’t pleased with Ramona wearing the dresses. It isn’t so much Singer herself. It is more her age that isn’t sitting well with him. As it turns out, Ramona could really care less.

According to a new Bravo report, Ramona Singer learned of the controversial statements made by Patrick a while back, as he said that only younger women should wear the dress. And he wasn’t slamming Ramona’s age. In fact, no one over the age of 23 should wear the dresses. As it turns out, Singer is proud of her body and she will wear whatever she wants.

“I think Herve Leger dresses look great on any body type, on women of every age — as long as you’re toned,” Ramona Singer explains, adding, “So when I heard the news about the executive who has been disparaging women, I decided not to pack up my collection of bandage dresses — including a deep-purple number I bought a couple of years ago for $1,200 from Bergdorf’s — but to fly in the face of his misguided rant.”

As it turns out, Singer tried on her first Herve Lerge dress when she was just 22-years-old. When her daughter, Avery, turned 18, she bought one for her daughter. Of course, Ramona Singer is probably the definition of a loyal customer. And as it turns out, Singer isn’t letting her age get in the way of her fashion choices.

“I’m proud of my body over 50: I’m physically fit and I still wear bikinis,” Ramona said, adding, “I think my body right now is better than when I was 35. To this mean-spirited exec, I say: ‘There’s something wrong with you. You must really hate women. I’ll never retire my bandage dress — I’ll be wearing it through my 70s.’ ”

And Bethenny Frankel let the world know just how much Ramona likes dresses. During the first few episodes, Singer was accused of stealing one of Frankel’s dresses. It wasn’t a Herve Lerge dress, but it was a dress that wasn’t hers, nonetheless. Maybe Ramona just wants to look good for her new man, according to the Inquisitr.
