Heidi Klum Explains Response To Trump as ‘Making Light,’ Looks Red Hot In Latest Campaign

After Donald Trump shared that he feels Heidi Klum is no longer a perfect 10, the supermodel, TV host and busy mom, was quick to respond with a poignant and clever video, as Inquisitr recently reported. Klum explained her hilarious response to Access Hollywood about Trump’s outrageous remark. USA Today relays the beauty’s words.

“I was just making light of the situation because it was kind of funny I thought, and I just thought, make it even more funny.”

It is always best to respond to ridiculousness with ridiculousness, yet Klum was clever and classy with her reaction to such an offensive statement. Further on in her discussion with the entertainment program, Heidi did admit that when broken down Trump’s words are really quite hurtful and inappropriate.

” [R]eally, the whole entire situation about women is not really funny, you know to put a number on a woman, especially women. We juggle so many things and I feel that, you know, women who support their families, who have children, who make their lunches, drive them all over the place, work at the same time, I mean, we do so many things, so in my book, every woman is a 10.”

Additionally, this busy mom of four and TV host for America’s Got Talent shared her confusion as to why she was even mentioned in Trump’s statements.

“Personally, I have no idea what I have to do with the election. Why do I come into play with this election? Like that doesn’t make sense to me to be honest with you.”

Donald’s insignificant comments aside, Klum has recently demonstrated that in both talent, and appearance she is far beyond a 10 as she sizzled in her latest campaign which advertised her latest line. If being a host of a popular TV program, a busy mom and modelling isn’t enough, Heidi highlights how women really can do it all by showcasing her own lingerie line, “Intimates”, while also modelling for the campaign. Trump can eat his words because Klum shows off her line with more appeal than she did when she walked the runway for Victoria’s Secret. The Daily Mail shares about Heidi’s most recent campaign.

As previously noted, Trump’s comments were out of place and simply created a snowball effect for the political candidate which also resulted in negative remarks being directed at comedian Rosie O’Donnell. Perhaps Trump should simply apologize and stop hurling out degrading comments directed at women to defend his point.
