Pro Dancers Revealed For New Season of ‘Dancing With The Stars’: Who Is Missing From The Lineup?

The anticipation is building as Dancing with the Stars gets closer to its new season premiere in less than a month. Which celebrity will be spending weeks shaking their booty out on the dance floor of this hugely popular ABC show? That announcement will be made later on, but Good Morning America has officially revealed which pro dancers will be back to teach those stars how to tango and shake their booties in front of millions of viewers.

The dancers who were announced this morning are all ready to get their dancing shoes on. The pro dancers who are definitely coming back for season 21 are Witney Carson, Derek Hough, Peta Murgatroyd, Val Chmerkovskiy, Artem Chigventsev, Mark Ballas, Allison Holker, Sharna Burgess, and Karina Smirnoff.

Of course, this is only nine dancers that were announced. There are usually 12, so either they are downsizing this year or there are three more pros that will be announced at a later date. The obvious names missing this time are veterans Kym Johnson and Tony Dovolani, as well as newcomer Keo Motsepe. Karina was previously rumored to be coming back to the show after taking last season off, as reported by the Inquisitr, and now it is official. Emma Slater is also not on this list of those coming back to Dancing with the Stars.

After winning his very first mirror ball trophy with celebrity partner from last season, Rumor Willis, Val says that he is up for the challenge and ready to do it again. He admits that he loves every single partner that he has had on the show. That is quite evident on the dance floor when he comes off as so passionate with the stars that he is dancing with, which is why there are always rumors that he is dating them during the season.

When asked who their dream partners would be, Whitney Carson quickly piped up that her dream partner would be hunky Zac Efron. Karina said that hers would be Ryan Gosling. Those girls have very good taste in men. Mark Ballas mentioned having Shakira as one of the stars that might be nice to tango with.

The judges’ table will see the return of Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and newly engaged Julianne Hough. She is now engaged to be married to hockey player Brooks Laich, as reported by E! News on Tuesday. Is Len Goodman coming back? That remains to be seen at this point. He seemed to make it clear that season 20 was his last one. However, there are still rumors that he may just show up after all.

The celebrity cast of Dancing with the Stars will be revealed on Good Morning America on September 2. This is always a highly anticipated event for this show’s devoted fans. The new season begins on September 14 on ABC.

Sound off on which stars you think should be dancing on season 21. Which pro dancer would you like to see them paired up with?
