‘RHOC’ Relationship Update: Vicki Gunvalson ‘Relieved’ After Splitting From Brooks Ayers?

The RHOC relationship between Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers has come to an end, and according to a report, the Real Housewives of Orange County star, who initially revealed her breakup to fans on Facebook, is “relieved.”

Below is what a source revealed to Radar Online on August 18:

“Vicki and Brooks actually met before RHOC first aired. They met at an insurance convention, and Brooks wasn’t even in the business. Soon thereafter, Brooks and Vicki began exchanging emails, and she was still married to Don at the time… Brooks was obviously interested in Vicki for more than a decade, since 2004.”

The source claimed the RHOC relationship came as bad news to many of Gunvalson’s friends and family members, and some “expressed their concerns.” However, Gunvalson didn’t listen to anyone who had anything negative to say about her boyfriend, and the RHOC relationship continued up until Sunday, when Gunvalson told fans on Facebook that she and Ayers had split after much consideration and counseling. Still, Gunvalson’s friends and family wonder if the RHOC relationship is over for good, or whether they’ll reconcile, as they have in the past.

Either way, the RHOC relationship continues to play out on The Real Housewives of Orange County, and Ayers continues to face allegations of faking his cancer diagnosis. Throughout season 10, Meghan King Edmonds has targeted the RHOC relationship with questions regarding Ayers’ cancer, as well as how he’s treating it, and according to the Radar Online source, Gunvalson appears to be worried about what is to come.

“In the coming weeks on RHOC, Brooks’ cancer diagnosis will be questioned, with some startling surprises. Vicki seems to be concerned with how that is going to play out, and doesn’t want to look like a fool.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the end of the RHOC relationship was announced to fans on Facebook on August 16. In a joint statement from herself and Brooks regarding their RHOC relationship split, Gunvalson revealed the following:

“After much prayer, thought, counseling, and consideration, we have decided to end our four year relationship. We both wish nothing but a great future for each other. We have come to realize that one can indeed love someone in their heart, but that the time may come for their lives to take separate paths.”
