Watch live online as Mexico’s premier domestic cup competition, Copa MX, resumes with a Second Round match pitting Liga MX side Club Atlas against Murciélagos FC of Ascenso MX, Mexico’s second division, as the lower-league team looks to continue its winning streak in Group Six of the 28-team tournament.
Murciélagos, whose name in English translates to “The Bats” (the kind that fly, not that kind you swing), won both legs of their opening fixture, with the Los Mochis-based club defeating another Liga MX team, Dorados de Sinaloa 2-1 and 1-0 in the home-and-away series.

Kickoff time is scheduled for 8 p.m. local time in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico, which is 10 p.m. United States Eastern Daylight Time, 7 p.m. Pacific.
Club Atlas also won their opening two-legged tie, getting past newly relegated second-tier side Leones Negros of Guadalajara by an aggregate of 1-0, pulling the match out in the second leg on a 27th-minute penalty driven home by Martín Barragán.
United States International Gregory Garza, who starts at fullback for Atlas on loan from his parent club, Tijuana, says that the Foxes are not taking the Knights of Night lightly.
“Murciélagos are a great team, with top quality players,” Garza told the Club Atlas website. “We are aware that it will be a tough game, they are going very well in both the league and Cup, We’re coming for the win and we plan to deliver on the pitch to get it and bring the points home.”
Atlas needs the win to go to the top of Group Six, where the lower-league Bats now sit due to goal difference.
Despite winning their most recent Liga MX match 2-1 against Puebla last Saturday, the Foxes have surrendered 12 goals in five league matches, winning just two of those games to sit at 10th place on the table. Against Murciélagos, they will look to 34-year-old Panama international Felipe Baloy to lead from the back, and keep the Bats out of the net.
