‘Creepy’ Donald Trump Stalked Princess Diana — Billionaire Thought He Had A ‘Shot’ With Royal

Every woman has to deal with unwanted male attention from time to time. Princess Diana was no exception, though she had to juggle expensive flower arrangements from American billionaire turned presidential candidate Donald Trump — and she wasn’t happy about it.

She told a friend, BBC journalist Selina Scott, that she felt Trump stalked her:”I know this because she told me,” she said, according to The Daily Mirror.

Apparently, the Donald’s attentions had become so fervent that the royal was worried about how they may progress and turned to Scott for advice.

He allegedly stalked her by “bombard(ing) her at Kensington Palace with massive bouquets of flowers, each worth hundreds of pounds,” The Independent wrote. This began after her divorce from Prince Charles.

“Trump clearly saw Diana as the ultimate trophy wife. As the roses and orchids piled up at her apartment she became increasingly concerned about what she should do. It had begun to feel as if (he stalked) her.”

Selina advised her friend to throw the pricey bouquets in the trash. The journalist recalled Diana telling her that the billionaire gave her “the creeps.”

But to hear his camp tell it, the pair were friendly, his spokesman said in response to Scott’s allegations, which appeared in the Sunday Times this weekend.

“They had a great relationship, liked each other a lot, but nothing ever came of it,” the rep told People.

The spokesman didn’t address the allegation that Donald stalked the royal, but said he believed he had a “shot” with her and the couple could’ve had a real romance. After she was killed in a car accident in 1997, he expressed regret that his flowers didn’t woo her.Donald Trump

“I only have one regret in the women department – that I never had the opportunity to court Lady Diana Spencer. I met her on a number of occasions. I couldn’t help but notice how she moved people. She lit up the room with her charm, her presence. She was a genuine princess – a dream lady.”

No one can argue with that description of the late princess, who was clearly too classy for the Donald. In recent weeks, rape allegations filed by his ex-wife Ivana Trump have resurfaced, he has accused immigrants of being rapists, bullied his fellow presidential candidates, and quipped that Fox News presenter Megyn Kelly was on her period when she nailed him with tough questions during the first GOP debate. Unsurprisingly, the questions addressed Trump’s tendency to call women unsavory names.

Selina was the victim of such name-calling herself. After she released a negative documentary about the billionaire in the 1990s, he called her “obnoxious,” “not at all very smart” and “a major loser.” He also stalked her, too, the journalist alleges.

“It drove Trump mad with rage and he initiated what was to become a long series of threats and vicious letters to me. This would culminate in threats from him that he would sue me for every penny I had and ruin my career.”

Looks like Diana made the right decision.
