WWE Rumors: Another WWE Hall Of Famer Going To ‘SummerSlam’ Weekend, Could Join Kevin Nash At ‘NXT Takeover: Brooklyn’

Lots of big things are planned for WWE SummerSlam on Sunday night, and it was just announced on Monday that Jon Stewart was going to host the event. Lots of rumors are flying around about big stars making a surprise appearance or legends showing up. Kevin Nash is set to be there this weekend, and he may actually be joined by long-time friend and tag team partner Scott Hall.

According to PW Insider, Scott Hall is being brought to New York for the big SummerSlam weekend, but he is not expected to appear on the pay-per-view. Again, anything is possible, but it doesn’t look like this will be a second coming of WrestleMania 31.

WrestleZone has said that it is possible to see Scott Hall and Kevin Nash show up at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn on Saturday night. It isn’t known what the Outsiders would be there for, but it’s certainly an intriguing situation.

Hall and Nash are expected to at least attend Takeover: Brooklyn, but it’s not yet out of the question for them to appear on the show itself. Both of the WWE Hall of Famers are expected to arrive in New York City sometime on Friday.

For now, it is confirmed that Sting, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall are going to be in New York over SummerSlam weekend. Could a few other big names show up? Possibly.

Sting is going to be at the SummerSlam fan experience to sign autographs and do all that kind of stuff. Is he going to show up at the big show? That appears extremely doubtful at this time.

Since Austin is the cover boy for WWE 2K16, it’s obvious that he will be there in New York for promotional purposes. He will likely also stick around for the meet-and-greet and autograph signing, but it seems unlikely that he’ll show up at SummerSlam.

Could The Rock show up? Right now, he appears to be the legend most likely to show up at the main event for SummerSlam.

Both Nikki Bella (back injury) and Dolph Ziggler (film shoot) showed up on Raw this evening, so it appears as if they are ready to go. It’s still possible that Ziggler vs. Rusev could be added to Sunday’s card.

It’s going to be extremely interesting to know that both Scott Hall and Kevin Nash are in New York together and there for WWE. The Outsiders will make an impact somewhere this weekend, but it’s not quite known where that will be.
