Britney Spears Teen Choice Awards 2015: Rainbow Hair And Cleavage [Photos]
Britney Spears brought back her youthful appearance at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards. The legendary Ms. Spears reminded everyone why she’s still the princess of pop. After all, the “Pretty Girls” singer was once a teenager herself.
Spears, 33, attended the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday evening, August 16. The Piece of Me performer brought her A-game to the awards show with a new vibrant look. Spears was photographed rocking rainbow hair and a feminine and flirty dress with a plunging neckline.
Some media outlets thought that Britney’s fierce and feminine look was the best one of the night. The former Candie’s model was presented with Candie’s Choice Style Icon Award. Britney wore a glimmery silver cleavage-baring dress by Mikael D. She accessorized her super sexy look with Le Silla stilettos and Jennifer Meyer jewelry.
Girl group Fifth Harmony presented Spears with the award. As she stood on stage to accept her award, the “Perfume” singer explained why she loves experimenting with fashion.
“Fashion has always been something I love to experiment with. It gives us all a chance to express ourselves and our own personalities and to shine in our own way. To all the teens out there watching, be fearless in your choices and don’t be afraid to be yourself.”
This isn’t Britney’s first award at the awards show. She won her very first Teen Choice Award in 1999, when she also hit the scene with her smash hit “Hit Me Baby, One More Time.” She’s won a total of eight surfboards so far, including the Ultimate Teen Choice Awards in 2009.
The pop star was also seen with purple and green ombré tips. Britney’s been playing up with her hairstyle lately, as seen on her Instagram page. She’s not afraid to change up her look, as she’s been seen rocking both brunette and red hair, as seen during her previous shows in Sin City.
Earlier on the red carpet, Spears addressed whether or not she’s returning to Vegas after her residency at Planet Hollywood ends. The legendary dancer says that although she loves to perform, she doesn’t know what she wants to do at the moment.
“I’m not really sure. I haven’t made up my mind. I really love doing the show. It’s a lot, a lot of fun but I’m kind of torn right now. I don’t really know what I want to do.”
If Britney doesn’t renew her contract with the Las Vegas hotel chain, then her Britney: Piece of Me performances will run late from August through October with final shows on New Year’s Eve. As previously reported via E! News, a new contract is on the table but it hasn’t been finalized as of yet.
Spears is currently working on her new album. The singer revealed that she’s having fun making some sexy music in the studio.
“We’re having fun right now. I’m working with some women who are amazing writers. I have ballads and, of course, dance music—fun cheeky sexy stuff.”
As previously reported via the Inquisitr, Britney will also make a guest appearance on the CW hit show, Jane the Virgin.
