Glenn Beck Doesn’t Understand The Conservative Love For Donald Trump

Glenn Beck is honestly confused as to what conservative pundits see in Donald Trump. Glenn Beck is actually so confused about the love Donald Trump is getting by conservatives, and conservative voters in general, that he took to Facebook to voice his general confusion, while claiming that he wasn’t trying to attack Donald Trump, but that he was truly confused as to why there was so much love for someone Glenn Beck feels is more of a liberal than any of the other candidates in the race on the Republican side of the aisle.

Glenn Beck isn’t even that annoyed that Donald Trump is more liberal than he would like. As Beck wrote on his Facebook page, it’s more what “The Donald” represents as far as someone who is quite rich and expects political action for his money that has the former Fox News talk show host truly flummoxed.

“He is part of the problem when he by his own admission, buys politicians; he said he identifies his ‘policies more as a democrat;’ he makes President Obama look truly humble; he was very pro-abortion until very recently; he still says ‘don’t defund planned parenthood;’ he is pro ‘assault weapon ban;’ he is in favor of a wealth tax that would just ‘take money out of people’s bank accounts.'”

Glenn Beck has long thought of himself as a champion of the people, especially when it comes to trying to protect the Republican and Conservative brand. Now, the pundit and radio host apparently wonders why those brands are so willing to embrace someone who is the antithesis of what he’s been supportive of in the past.

“I am not talking about the average Joe, I am talking about Sean Hannity or Ann Colter (sic). How about Savage or Rush?” Glenn Beck wrote. “These are smart people. What am I missing? Just based on his favorability ratings he could never win in a general. Research shows that he may be near his ceiling now.”

It should be pointed out that this question has been asked by a number of other people in the Republican party when it comes to Donald Trump. Glenn Beck is paroting comments that have been made by other people who feel Trump might even be some sort of weird “plant” by the Democratic party. Donald has managed to overcome those comments with huge popularity in Iowa. If this continues, it’s a sure bet Glenn Beck’s confusion is only going to grow.
