‘Grey’s Anatomy’: Season 12 Teasers And Season 11 Bloopers Excite Fans

Grey’s Anatomy Season 12 is drawing near, and fans are finally starting to accept that McDreamy will no longer be part of the show. In Season 11, the death of Patrick Dempsey’s character caused such a stir that some even petitioned for his return to the show. However, as a previous Inquisitr report stated, producer Shonda Rhimes had good reason to kill off McDreamy in Grey’s Anatomy.

With Grey’s Anatomy Season 12 premiering next month, teasers for the upcoming season abound. Shonda Rhimes revealed some details regarding the characters at the 2015 Television Critics Association press tour.

Jackson (Jesse Williams) and April (Sarah Drew) were not in the best place in their relationship at the end of Season 11. Rhimes said that at the start of Grey’s Anatomy Season 12, April will be making a big move and choosing her work in the Army over Jackson. Is this the end of Jackson and April?

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Shonda said that their relationship is “still up in the air.” She talked about April fighting for the relationship, but Jackson is not happy with April’s decision.

“I honestly haven’t decided how it’s going to turn out. I love them together, so we’ll see.”

We’ll also be seeing how Meredith moves on with the death of her husband and how she copes with being a single mother with three children to take care of, while also taking care of her patients.

“She’s living in a house with her sisters. There’s a lot of single women right now. She’s surrounded by women who are dating and having a whole life.”

In addition to Jackson and April, Shonda also talked a bit about Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) and Callie (Sara Ramirez). It seems that the two characters have moved on from each other, as the Grey’s Anatomy producer said that both would be dating or having new love interests in Season 12.

There’s still a bit of time before Grey’s Anatomy‘s latest season premieres, and to keep you entertained, ET Online has provided an exclusive Grey’s Anatomy reel that shows bloopers from the last season. In the video below, you can see your favorite doctors giggle and smile as they forget their lines. In addition, the blooper reel also serves as sort of a farewell to the Grey’s Anatomy doctor everyone loves – McDreamy.

If you want to refresh your memory on what happened on the last season of Grey’s Anatomy, you can grab Season 11 on DVD, which will be available in stores on August 18.

Tune into Grey’s Anatomy Season 12 when it premieres on September 24 at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
