Hilary Duff And Twenty One Pilots Can’t Wait For Justin Bieber’s ‘What Do You Mean’

Hilary Duff and Twenty One Pilots are the latest massive stars to co-sign Justin Bieber’s celebrity-assisted countdown to the release of his upcoming single, “What Do You Mean,” on August 28.

On Sunday morning, after tweeting a funny skit of Viner pal Rudy Mancuso noting the 12 days mark until the track’s release, Justin tweeted and Instagrammed a photo of actress-singer Hilary Duff, then alt-rock, indie pop duo Twenty One Pilots — namely, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun.

“Thanks @HilaryDuff. #12Days to go. #WhatDoYouMean?,” Justin wrote alongside the uploads.

Next up on the promo trail was Twenty One Pilots. The Biebs shared a photo of the pair backed by a crew of guys wearing red, white, and black masks.

The Canadian superstar captioned it, “What Do You Mean? @twentyonepilots #12Days.”

Ever since Justin hit up On Air With Ryan Seacrest last month to announce his new, “up-tempo,” “summery” single and kick off his 30-day celebrity-packed countdown, it’s been interesting seeing who turns up in the diverse roll call.

With stars including James Corden, Mariah Carey, Travis Scott, Ariana Grande, Shaquille O’Neal, Fifth Harmony, Luke Bryan, Ed Sheeran, Meghan Trainor, CL, Alanis Morissette, Little Mix, Ashley Benson, Tony Hawk, Christina Perri, professional wrestler Dylan Bostic, and now Duff and Twenty One Pilots enlisted, it’s clear Team Bieber are keen to not only reach Justin’s traditional, teen female fanbase, but also other age groups and fans from a variety of music genres with the “What Do You Mean” countdown.

Even Charlie “See You Again” Puth has endorsed the Biebs’ upcoming jam.

In other Justin Bieber news, Billboard reports multiple sources confirm the singer is set to release his insanely anticipated new album on November 13. “What Do You Mean” is the lead single from the Skrillex-produced record.

In addition, Hits Daily Double hinted Thursday that the singer may perform (or make some other appearance, which hypothetically could include previewing his music video for “What Do You Mean”) at MTV’s Video Music Awards on August 30.

The Miley Cyrus-hosted music and pop culture event will air from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, two days after the 21-year-old’s imminent single “What Do You Mean” drops, so the VMAs would be a perfect promotional tie-in.

Meanwhile, noting today as day 12, check out some of the snaps of celebrities involved in the Biebs’ ongoing countdown to “What Do You Mean.”
