Shailene Woodley And Theo James: ‘Divergent’ Fans Want Them Together — Is There A Chance?
Shailene Woodley and Theo James share an on-screen chemistry in the Divergent series that leaves a lot of fans and experts wondering if there is something more off screen. Body language expert Judi James analyzed the two stars appearances on the press tour for Insurgent. What she found may have Shailene Woodley and Theo James’ current significant others green with envy.
Judi revealed what she felt was a genuine closeness between the two stars when speaking with Entertainment Wise.
“Following in good old Hollywood, film-plugging tradition, Theo and Shailene do give good red carpet body language, flirting with the punters and one another, although their signals here suggest they could be genuinely close off-set. Neither of their wide-open-mouth facial expressions are genuine in this pose but they are mirrored performances, signaling like-minded rapport and possibly a matching sense of humour. Their torsos are very comfortably pressed together and Theo is working the pose well beyond the call of duty with that right hand tucked around Shailene’s waist with a firm grip and fingers that are on nodding terms with her right breast.”
Before you think this is just Judi James trying to fan a flame that isn’t burning, she had pretty much had the opposite to say about Fifty Shades of Grey stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan.
The body language expert may not be too far away from the truth. In July, rumors started flying that Theo James was getting engaged to his girlfriend, Ruth Kearney. The rumor was proven false, and Theo didn’t help matters by discussing openly with MTV the kiss he shared with Woodley,
“I just went at it hard, to be honest, because I thought that’s how she wanted it. I thought to assuage any awkwardness I would just go for it. She was kind of batting away my hands.”
While Theo James hasn’t had a problem kissing and telling. Shailene Woodley doesn’t seem quite as eager to share the next kiss. She has been spending a lot of time with he new beau, Nahko Bear. According to J-14, Woodley has been seen with Bear in Hawaii as well as catching his performances in California.
