LeAnn Rimes Takes 40 Nutritional Supplements Every Day
LeAnn Rimes reportedly swallows 40 vitamins and other supplements every day as part of her wellness regimen.
The health-conscious country singer revealed this protocol in an interview with Into The Gloss, a website devoted to beauty products, in which she described herself as a “big vitamin person.” In addition, to stay physically fit, Rimes works out regularly in her home gym and jumps rope when she is on the road touring.
Rimes, 32, also disclosed her lifelong struggle with psoriasis, for which she has tried many different remedies over the years. The condition is currently under control with anti-inflammatory drug Humira, along with several topical lotions, Rimes noted.
Forty nutritional supplements per day may seem like a lot, but about two years ago, Google exec Ray Kurzweil acknowledged that he downs about 150 different vitamin pills a day as part of an anti-aging protocol.
During the interview, LeAnn Rimes described her daily vitamin intake.
“I’m a big vitamin person. I take like 20 pills in the morning and 20 at night—fish oil, prenatal vitamins, probiotics, biotin… I have an herbalist I work with who has put me on a bunch of different things. I’m very strict about making sure I take them…Working out, taking care of myself, and knowing that I’m doing the best things for myself and putting healthy things into my body makes me feel beautiful—even on the days when I feel like crap.”
Back in late 2014, the country star said that she would love to have a child with husband Eddie Cibrian, whom she married in April, 2011, which may explain the inclusion of prenatal vitamins in the daily health ritual.
Rimes also confessed to a love for spray tanning, added that she recently dropped $500 for a home tanning machine that she and her personal assistant share. “We do it once or twice a week. It’s like a car wash.”
The singer has had a well-documented feud with Real Housewife Brandi Glanville, Cibrian’s ex-wife and mother of his two kids. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Rimes and Cibrian tied the knot two years after the two engaged in a highly-publicized affair on the set of their Lifetime movie, Northern Lights. Since then, the couple have starred on a reality show of their own, LeAnn & Eddie, which aired for one season on VH1. Meanwhile, Glanville was recently demoted from her full-time role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
For her musical artistry, LeAnn Rimes has won two Grammys, three ACMs, a CMA, 12 Billboard Music Awards, and one American Music award, among other honors.
