Jeremy Calvert Threatens Leah Messer With Divorce On ‘Teen Mom 2’

Jeremy Calvert’s marriage to Leah Messer has hit a rocky patch on Teen Mom 2, and during tonight’s new episode of the MTV reality series, “[Jeremy Calvert] threatens Leah with divorce.” As the International Business Times reported on August 13, Jeremy Calvert has had enough of his wife’s yet-to-be identified issues, and is ready to end their three-year marriage.

Jeremy Calvert married Messer in April, 2012, less than one year after her divorce from Corey Simms was finalized. One year later, the couple welcomed their first child together, Adalynn Faith, the third child for Messer, who shares 5-year-old twin girls with Simms. Then, in October, 2014, Jeremy Calvert shocked fans, when he took to Twitter, claiming in since-deleted tweets that Messer had cheated on him with her ex-boyfriend, Robbie Kidd (Messer admitted to cheating on Simms with Kidd, which led to the end of her first marriage). Although Jeremy Calvert attempted to make his marriage to Messer work, even after his allegations were made public, their divorce was ultimately finalized in June of this year.

Meanwhile, on Teen Mom 2, fans are seeing what led to the end of Jeremy Calvert’s marriage to Messer, starting with the revelation of her mystery issues. In a sneak peek at tonight’s new episode, as the Inquisitr reported earlier this week, Jeremy Calvert briefly meets with Messer to discuss said issues, but after telling Messer to “get help,” she storms off, claiming Jeremy Calvert hasn’t been there for her in the last three years.

Messer also seemingly bashed Jeremy Calvert online in the months since their split, sharing a post with fans on Twitter, which spoke of someone who wasn’t fighting for his or her marriage.

“When people make you feel unwanted, don’t leave to make them feel sad or guilty, they won’t. Leave because you no longer have a reason to stay. Sometimes you have to be strong for yourself. What’s meant to be will end up good and what’s not – won’t. Love is worth fighting for, but sometimes you can’t be the only one fighting. At times, people need to fight for you. If they don’t you just have to move on and realize what you gave them was more than they were willing to give you and more than they deserve.”
