Meghan Trainor And Luke Bryan Tease Justin Bieber’s ‘What Do You Mean’ Single

Meghan Trainor and Luke Bryan are the latest famous names to feature in Justin Bieber’s celebrity-assisted countdown to the release of the Biebs’ upcoming single, “What Do You Mean,” which drops Aug. 28.

Last month, Justin announced the single and kicked off the countdown over at On Air With Ryan Seacrest. Since then, a slew of stars have ponied up to help the Canadian keep his single in the public’s awareness.

So far, the roll call includes Ruby Rose, James Corden, Mariah Carey, Travis Scott, Ariana Grande, Big Sean, Little Mix, Ed Sheeran, Fifth Harmony, and The Fat Jewish.

Now, at the 15-day mark, Good Morning Britain co-host Richard Arnold, Meghan Trainor, Luke Bryan are doing the honors.

Over at Justin’s Instagram, he shared the same pic, captioning it, “What Do You Mean? Lol @meghan_trainor #15Days. Feel better Meghan.”

The last part refers to Trainor’s ongoing issues with her vocal cords, which most recently forced her to pull out of her current U.S. tour.

Country star Luke Bryan got cute in a funny skit, in which he pretends to congratulate the heartthrob on the imminent arrival of his song on Country radio.

If you recall, Justin and The Late Late Show host Corden, popped up in a comedy cameo during the CMT awards in June. They reprised their car karaoke skit by riffing about how much they loved country star Bryan and hamming along to his hit “Country Girl.”

The Biebs previously described his upcoming single as “summery” and “poppy but cool.” It was recently endorsed by Charlie Puth who tweeted that the song is a wow-worthy hit. As a co-writer on “See You Again,” one of the biggest hits of the year, Puth should know.

Meanwhile, as announced on Tuesday, Justin’s new album has a release date. Hot on the heels of a Hits Daily Double report, Billboard revealed multiple sources confirm Justin and his team are targeting November 13 to rollout his next studio album.

In a cover story with Interview magazine last month, the Biebs said his new album is “very personal,” adding, “People will be able to really get into where my heart is.” Skrillex, Kanye West, and Rick Rubin are producing the album, with Sonny Moore taking the major role.

Amid building buzz for Bieber’s next record and new single, Billboard noted “What Do You Mean” is the most mentioned track on Twitter, which saw it top the publication’s Trending 140 chart at one point on Thursday.
