Giuliana Rancic Says Goodbye To ‘E! News’ In Touching Instagram Photo [Video]
Giuliana Rancic said goodbye to her friends and fellow co-workers at E! News this week. The anchor paid a touching tribute to her 14 years as the show’s host by sharing several Instagram photos. While Giuliana will still host Fashion Police, saying goodbye to the nightly E! News gang was more difficult than Rancic imagined, reports Us Weekly.
Rancic shared a photo on Instagram of her final day on the set, and said a formal goodbye to her friends and fans. “What an honor to work with the most incredible gang in the business,” Giuliana Rancic captioned the Instagram snap, which was of the E! News crew to whom she said goodbye. “I love each and every one of you @enews and thank you for 14 years of love and laughs!!! Thank you for tonight’s beautiful send off. I [love] U! #secondfamily.”

According to Us Weekly, the sentiment was mutual, and Rancic received plenty of praise for the 14 years she effortlessly hosted the popular program as the crew said goodbye. Her co-anchors left her plenty of well-wishes as she said goodbye on the Instagram pic, including Jason Kennedy, Terrence J, and Catt Sadler.
During her final show, Giuliana didn’t just say goodbye. Rancic was also treated to a hilarious blooper reel, which was a walk down memory lane of her past 14 years. Giuliana was also surprised when her husband, Bill Rancic, joined her on camera for a final goodbye.
On the set, Giuliana shared another goodbye photo, this time of the TV personality and her husband. “And on this note…it’s a wrap. Fourteen years of memories at one show,” Giuliana Rancic posted along with the snap, reports HNGN. “Fifty more years of memories to be made with my soulmate. Let’s do this @billrancic!!!!!”
According to Us Weekly, in a touching tribute to all her years on the show, Bill Rancic had penned a sweet love letter to his wife, entitled, “Giuliana: Why I’m So Proud.” The letter gushed about how hard Giuliana worked on the show, and touched on how she overcame breast cancer and infertility issues. As he read the letter, Rancic said,
“Even in recent months, through some of the harder times, you showed nothing but grace under pressure. You’ve dealt with worse and you’ve taken the high road, when others wouldn’t have, something you always do…That’s something that makes me love and respect you even more.”
As Giuliana listened during her final goodbye episode, Rancic continued, “I’ll close by saying my wife is the definition of the American Dream. A dream that’s become even more important in recent years. She came to this country at a young age and could barely speak English. All the kids in her class laughed when she stood up at 8 years old and said she wanted to be an award-winning anchor someday. No one is laughing now.”
