Robert Pattinson And FKA Twigs Delay Wedding, ‘Two Weeks’ Singer Hoping For Bigger Celebration?

Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs may be keeping mum when it comes to news of their upcoming nuptials, but according to sources close to the British couple, it doesn’t appear that Pattinson and Twigs are heading down the aisle just yet.

A source close to Pattinson reveals to People that Robert and FKA Twigs have decided to push back their wedding “until autumn at the earliest” because Twigs “can’t decide what [kind of] wedding she’d like to have.”

The source goes on to explain, “She talks about it keeping as real and low-key and then wants an elaborate glamorous Baroque affair. She was even talking at one stage about having a masked ball.”

“It will now be bigger but how big, nobody’s quite sure at this moment in time,” the source continues, “There’s no fixed [wedding] date but will probably be late in the year.”

The new wedding plans are a far cry from the “pub-style” wedding Twigs and Pattinson had planned for this summer.

A source close to the couple revealed to Daily Mail UK that the duo are hoping for an “informal” ceremony complete with their closest friends and family in attendance.

The source went on to allege that Twigs was hoping for a summer wedding, but it appears the plans have been pushed in anticipation of a larger crowd.

Pattinson and FKA Twigs made headlines earlier this year after rapper T-Pain confirmed their engagement during an interview. While neither Twigs nor Pattinson have spoken out about the engagement rumors, the couple made their first red carpet debut together during the 2015 Met Gala, in which Twigs was spotted wearing a “unique” diamond ring on that finger.

The news of the duo’s delayed nuptials comes shortly after Pattinson gushed in an interview with Jolie that he hopes to have children with his fiancée in the future.

“Definitely, although I still don’t know when,” Pattinson says of his hopes to have a family in the future. “Sure I will have a child who is totally cool and confident. He or she will probably look at me every day and think, ‘Why is this guy such a funny, quirky oddball?'”

Similarly, Twigs has been vocal about her desire to have children in the future. The songstress previously revealed to Britain’s The Sunday Times that she is ready for parenthood.

“Women are amazing creatures. We can give birth. We have a womb. We can create life! I honestly didn’t give a s*** about any of this until about two years ago. I don’t know whether it’s my age, I’m going to be 28 in January, but all of a sudden I started thinking that if I had a daughter, it is gonna be terrifying.”
