Yolanda Foster Remains In Cleveland Under Medical Care After Breast Implant Removal

Yolanda Foster’s doctor discovered a leaky, 20-year-old breast implant last week, which appears to have put the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star on the path towards a Lyme disease cure, or at the very least, the subsiding of her Lyme disease symptoms. Days later, Yolanda Foster remains under medical care in Cleveland, Ohio.

On August 11, Yolanda Foster shared a photo from her hospital room at the Cleveland Clinic, along with the following caption.

“Don’t judge ones path if you have not walked their journey….. #DaysTurnIntoWeeks #WeeksTurnIntoMonths #MonthsTurnIntoYears.”

Yolanda Foster was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012, around the time she signed on to appear on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Two years later, while filming Season 5, Yolanda Foster suffered a relapse, which left her unable to read, write, and even watch television. Ever since, she has been traveling the globe in hopes of finding a cure or remedy.

Because of her ongoing struggles, Yolanda Foster has reportedly taken on a lesser role on the reality show for the currently-in-production sixth season. So far, Yolanda Foster doesn’t appear to have filmed for the show at all, so it’s unclear how much fans will be seeing her when the show returns later this year.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Yolanda Foster’s husband was allegedly hoping his wife would refrain from rejoining the show. According to a Radar Online source, David Foster felt his wife, Yolanda Foster, was negatively impacted by the drama on the show, and would be happier focusing solely on her health.

“David has told [Yolanda Foster] there is just no way she can return to the show because her condition is just getting worse. The Lyme disease is just ravaging her, and traveling for the international medical treatments is taking a toll. [Yolanda Foster] is extremely weak, and her memory is suffering. David is just being protective because he doesn’t want any of the ladies to use her illness against her, as he knows those women are vicious.”

Still, Yolanda Foster was reportedly determined to come back to the show in an effort to raise awareness, and help find a cure for Lyme disease.

“It will break [Yolanda Foster]’s heart if she can’t be on RHOBH because she wants to use the platform to raise awareness about the illness.”

Yolanda Foster has not yet confirmed her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6.
