Terrell Owens has caught more than 1000 passes, he’s ran for more than 15,000 yards and has scored more than 150 touchdowns. He’s also fathered four children with four different women. The NFL star appeared on Dr. Phil today to face accusations from three of those women about his refusal to pay child support.
The NFL Network reports that Owens has made more than $80 million over his 11-year career, but the three women say that they haven’t seen much of that money.
Kimber, the first woman introduced by Dr. Phil, said that Owens has only seen their daughter a dozen times. Owens admitted that he has not seen the 7-year-old girl in over a year but said that it wasn’t entirely his fault. Owens said:
“The thing is, with me traveling back and forth, I don’t have a set schedule…. Pretty much 90% of the time every time I’ve reached out it’s been a bad time.”
The second woman, identified as Melanie, also said that Owens has been an absentee father. The third woman said that Owens has made a few public appearances with their son, but said that he only did so to bolster his image.
Monique said: “He was trying to exploit his kid.”
Owens, however, said that he’s not the one exploiting the kids. According to the NFL player, the women only contact Owens when they need money.
USA Today reports that Owens is currently trying to have his child support payments reduced. Ownes said that he currently has to make monthly payments of $20,000, $13,400, $11,200 and $5,000.

I hope he has been sterilized since obviously he can't learn how this happens. He thinks these women got pregnant to get his money—like that hasn't happened to other pro athletes. Duh!

Since when does it cost $20,000 a month to raise a child? Why do judges give these athletes such ridiculous amounts to pay. Most of these guys are done within four years, and then they still have to pay the same amount. There should be a set amount per child across the board. Income should have nothing to do with it. It should be 400-800 per child per month, any more than that is just living beyond your means.
At the end of the day, if it's not about money, and its about time with the mothers, and it should be not money about reduce the support and have him spend more time I agree with my man who posted before me these are gold-digging #@##@##.

I am a mother of a child that does not get child support cause her father doesn't want to pay. but I have to say this is a total abuse of a system and it makes me sick that these women can use their kids to get money like this. Yes he was a great football player yes he made great money, but to make him pay 20,000 is nuts. You take all those totals and that is almost $50,000 a month. That is gross. Those children would be fine with 800.00. Maybe if the moms would go and get a job I wonder if the judge counted any income towards the mothers.

It might not take 20k to take care of a child…however if they didn't have to go to the white man to make his ass take care of his own children than he wouldn't be paying that…that's his fault not the mothers…
