Taylor Swift ‘Dreads’ Seeing Miley Cyrus At VMAs After ‘Bad Blood’ Video Slam

Taylor Swift “dreads” seeing Miley Cyrus at the 2015 Video Music Awards, according to a new report. Taylor and Miley appear to be in a feud over Taylor’s “Bad Blood” music video.

Swift, 25, and Cyrus, 22, will face each other for the first time at the awards show later this month. An inside source told the Hollywood Life that Swift “dreads” seeing her new enemy. It’s not like the country-turned-pop singer can’t escape Cyrus, since she’s hosting the event!

“Taylor is really bothered that Miley would make an unsolicited shot at her like that. She doesn’t know why Miley suddenly has a problem with her, but she’d rather not get into it with her. She hates that Miley is hosting the VMAs and that they will be forced to interact. Taylor will confront her… but she’s dreading it.”

It all started with Miley’s interview with Marie Claire magazine. She gave a hard-hitting response to Taylor’s “Bad Blood” music video.

“I don’t get the violence revenge thing. That’s supposed to be a good example? And I’m a bad role model because I’m running around with my t***ies out? I’m not sure how t***ies are worse than guns.”

The “Wrecking Ball” singer is good friends with Katy Perry, who the song is supposedly about, so it’s no surprise that she would back her up. That hasn’t stopped Swift from reportedly thinking that Cyrus is “jealous” of her and her star-studded music video.

“Saying things like this is so typical of Miley. She is desperate for attention and will do anything to get it. It must kill Miley that Taylor has gotten so much attention for ‘Bad Blood’. In Taylor’s mind, Miley is just being jealous. She wants the spotlight on her and taking shots at Taylor is a good way to do it.”

Swift used to have nothing but good things to say about the wacky and wild singer. The two singers were actually good friends back in the day, after they started to drift apart. Swift even had a cameo in Hannah Montana: The Movie, and Swift and Cyrus performed “Fifteen” together at the 2009 Grammys.

Around that time, Taylor did an interview about her role in Hannah Montana. In the clip, she gushed over Miley and her success. The two young stars were obviously in awe of each other at the time.

“It’s so cool to become a part of the Hannah Montana phenomenon that’s taking over the world right now. Miley is pretty much the same person off camera that you see on camera. She is so outgoing and everything is big and huge and awesome. She’s just such a positive person. She’s not reserved. She doesn’t hold anything back, which is one of my favorite things about her.”

Swift was applauded for her “Bad Blood” video. Some people in the media went as far as to call the singer-songwriter a “feminist super hero.” Meanwhile, Cyrus was ridiculed over her “Wrecking Ball” music video. When it came out in the summer of 2013, the media called it “controversial” and “raunchy.” It seems like the general public can handle violence, but can’t handle sex and nudity.
