Heather Dubrow Comments On Teresa And Joe Giudice’s Legal Problems: ‘Are We Celebrating Felony?’

Heather Dubrow is one person who doesn’t seem to be looking forward to Joe Giudice’s upcoming Bravo special, which will feature his life without Teresa, and show how their four daughter are coping. On August 10, AllAboutTRH shared details from a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, which featured Heather Dubrow commenting on the Giudice’s legal troubles — and she doesn’t appear to be impressed.

“I feel terrible for her children. I mean, I really do. I think it’s awful. But the truth is, is that you know, when you commit crimes, you do time. And that’s just the way it is. I think it’s great that she’s doing her time, but I hope that when she comes out, it’s not celebrated.”

As for Joe’s spinoff, Heather Dubrow questioned the decision to award the felon with his own series.

“I don’t know… I mean, are we celebrating felony? I just felt like when I watched the [interview] that Andy [Cohen] did with Teresa and Joe… there just didn’t seem to be any remorse at all.”

In late 2014, just days after the Real Housewives of New Jersey couple was sentenced for charges of bank and wire fraud, they appeared on Watch What Happens Live to address their upcoming prison stints. However, rather than apologize for their wrongdoings in a manner Heather Dubrow would have found appeasing, the Giudices faced backlash, and many found them to be insincere.

A few months later, on January 5 of this year, Teresa began serving a 15-month sentence as her husband, Joe, remains in New Jersey, where he is caring for their children and filming his upcoming spin-off. After Teresa is released, Joe will serve a 41-month term.

Also during the interview, Heather Dubrow addressed the cast of The Real Housewives of New York City, labeling Ramona Singer “crazy eyes,” and praising Bethenny Frankel as “a mover and a shaker.”

“I’ve known Bethenny since back in the day. Since we were in our 20s… She was out here [in L.A.], and she had a pashmina business! ‘Pashmina Princess’… she was selling pashminas right when they were, like, getting incredibly cool… She was, you know, very driven, very determined.”
