WWE Rumors: Injured Star Returning To ‘RAW’ Tonight — Will John Cena, Undertaker, And Brock Lesnar Be There?

The next episode of Monday Night RAW takes place tonight, and there is already one big-time star who has been out with injury that will return. With just two weeks to go until WWE SummerSlam, the card is starting to be filled out more, but it looks as if a number of the main event stars won’t be on the show tonight.

WWE has revealed their “Five-Point Preview” for tonight’s RAW, and it includes a question about Ryback, the Intercontinental champion. The teaser actually talks about his title reign being in jeopardy since he developed the staph infection last month, and the triple threat match with The Miz and Big Show at Battleground was called off.

Well, it’s now on for SummerSlam, but Ryback still hasn’t shown back up on TV. WrestleZone is reporting that Ryback is backstage at the Xfinity Center in Washington, and is due to return on RAW this evening.

He hasn’t been seen since mid-July when he got taken out of action with a staph infection.

As of now, there are a number of big names that are not scheduled to be on tonight’s RAW. Brock Lesnar is not advertised to be at the Xfinity Center in Washington, and John Cena had already been taken off advertisements a couple of weeks ago when he had his nose broken.

The Undertaker is also not scheduled for tonight’s RAW, but WWE has started promoting his return for next week, the final RAW before SummerSlam.

Next week’s RAW will take place at The Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and it will be the first time that The Undertaker has appeared in the city in years. For next week, Brock Lesnar is also being advertised for one final confrontation before their big match.

Even though SummerSlam is only two weeks away, there is still a lot of build that needs to be done and not many shows left.

Appearing on RAW tonight will be Stephen Amell of the hit show Arrow, and he is going to officially start up a program with Stardust. A match of some type is expected to take place at SummerSlam, which could be Amell vs. Stardust or possibly Stardust vs. Neville, with Amell in his corner.

WWE SummerSlam is quickly approaching, and after tonight’s RAW, a lot more should be in place, and a couple more matches should be confirmed. Without Brock Lesnar, Undertaker, and John Cena, though, tonight’s show could be a little lackluster.
