George Clooney, Amal PDA End Divorce Rumors: Amal May Replace Fired ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ Donald Trump [Photos]
George Clooney and Amal are showing major PDA and putting divorce rumors to rest. Clooney and his wife, Amal, canoodled during a date night dinner in Italy, reported Entertainment Tonight.
PDA isn’t new to the paparazzi world, of course, but even the toughest photographer might be touched by how much in love the once-confirmed bachelor Clooney has become since his wedding to Amal.
It’s been almost 12 months since that extraordinarily extravagant wedding in Venice, but their love has only grown stronger. Clooney and Amal are both busy with their separate careers, but their PDA made it clear that temporary separations aren’t dimming their ardor.
So just what does George love about his human rights lawyer true love? Let Clooney count the ways.
“She’s an amazing human being,” declared George. “And she’s caring. And she also happens to be one of the smartest people I’ve ever met. And she’s got a great sense of humor.”
In addition to her warmth, wisdom, and wit, George praised Amal’s fabulous style.
“She’s always — since the day I met her — she’s always had this insanely… it’s eccentric but it’s fun, sense of fashion,” added Clooney. “How she does it while she’s got 11 cases she’s working on, and she was teaching at Columbia, and she’s still like, ‘I want to wear that dress.’ It’s crazy. It has been sort of fascinating to watch, because she has such great taste.”
So with George and Amal displaying such consistent PDA, are babies on the way? As the Inquisitr reported, Clooney has learned to fend off the barrage of questions about whether the couple will have little Clooneys toddling around their home.
“Ah, I have actually no idea about that,” claims Clooney whenever asked about the possibility of a pregnancy.
What he does have ideas about are trips for the two that don’t involve her appearances in court as a lawyer or his work on movie sets.
“I’ll tell you, there are places I would like to be in the world with Amal that we want to go to that we haven’t gone,” revealed the actor. “If I could be anywhere now, it would be she and I on a motorcycle in the middle of the French Alps near a town called Barcellonette, which is a Mexican village and it’s unbelievable.”
But Amal may be a world away from any of those places if reports are true that she’s at the top of the list to replace Donald Trump in telling people they’re fired on Celebrity Apprentice, according to the Daily Mail.
NBC is seeking a replacement after firing Donald, and specifically looking for a celebrity who also has a background in business. Trump was ousted following his negative comments about Mexican immigrants.
Amal and George have a home in Manhattan where Celebrity Apprentice is filmed, and she’s also working in that area in her professorial position at Columbia University.
