Jennifer Lopez: Secret To Youthful Complexion And Planning Secret Wedding With Casper Smart?
It’s no secret that Jennifer Lopez has seemingly flawless and radiant skin, and it seems the 46-year-old just keeps getting better with age. By simply visiting the star’s Instagram page it’s clear that Lopez has found the secret to an eternally youthful complexion and we’d all like to know what that secret is.
The New York Post recently shared a believed main factor which JLo swears by. The Enough star stays away from alcohol completely, aside from the odd celebratory toast. Lopez shared in regards to her choice to go booze free.
“I think [alcohol] ruins your skin. Of course, during celebratory toasts, everybody’s like, ‘You can’t toast with water!’ So I’ll toast with alcohol and just take a sip.”
Expert on maintaining healthy skin, Jill S. Waibel, M.D., indicates that Jennifer is not off base with her connection between poor skin condition and alcohol. The Post shares her expert opinion.
“The consumption of alcohol is one of the most common triggers for rosacea flare-ups, causing skin to be inflamed, red, and sensitive. Hydration is key when it comes to maintaining healthy skin.”
Dehydration, as Waibel continues, causes any fine lines or present wrinkles to become more visible. Clearly Lopez keeps herself well hydrated because she doesn’t look a day older than her much younger, on-and-off again boyfriend Casper Smart.
Reports are flying that the two are currently back on and may even be planning a small wedding ceremony. A source recently relayed possible wedding plans which Jennifer and Casper reportedly have in the works to OK Magazine. It’s noted that after three marriages, Jennifer is tentative to make the wedding public news.
“[Jennifer] doesn’t want everyone else weighing in on whether getting married again is the right. Casper’s great with the twins and he really wants to have a baby of his own too. They’ve already started trying, and he’d love to be able to reveal on their wedding day that they’re expecting.”
The pair have been said to be considering holding the wedding ceremony at Jen’s home in the Hamptons while ensuring it is a small and private gathering.
As stated, Lopez was married three times prior to these reported possible nuptials. From 1997 to 1998 the triple threat was married to Ojani Noa after which she tied the knot with dancer Chris Judd in 2001. She divorced Judd in 2002 and later married Marc Anthony in 2004. After the birth of their twins the couple split in 2014.
If reports are accurate, Lopez and Smart are wished all the best and hopes are high that it will be 4 times a charm for the beauty.
