Robert Pattinson And FKA Twigs: Is She Using His ‘Twilight’ Success To Boost Her Career?

Following his success in the insanely popular Twilight franchise, Robert Pattinson has been busy with a number of independent movie roles in an apparent attempt to stay away from more mainstream films. While Pattinson attempts to live a life out of the public eye, his new fiancé FKA twigs may have other plans.

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Twigs has been using her relationship with Pattinson to her advantage. While there is really no way to verify the claims, it is true that Twigs was a relatively unknown British singer before being vaulted into the spotlight after hooking up with Pattinson.

While Twigs is undoubtedly enjoying her new-found fame and the opportunities it brings, Pattinson is beginning to make more friends with some of Hollywood’s hottest stars. This has led some to speculate that Twigs is urging him to do so in order to promote her own interests.

In fact, Pattinson, who is getting ready to appear in a role the Brad Pitt produced film, The Lost City of Z, has been making more and more friends lately, including a new and budding relationship with Pitt.

Besides his new-found friendship with Pitt, who reportedly had to fight in order to get Robert Pattinson the role in his new movie, the Twilight actor has also been buddying up his costar, Sons of Anarchy’s Charlie Hunnam.

In fact, the two stars were recently spotted on the streets of Belfast together. A few lucky fans were able to pose with the two stars who are in town for the production of The Lost City of Z.

The film is an adaptation of the novel by David Grann that centers on the story of Colonel Percy Fawcett. Colonel Fawcett was a British explorer who vanished in the early 20th Century after attempting to find a lost city in the Amazon.

In one photo, posted to Instagram, Hunnam and Pattinson are featured posing beside a woman outside of a building in Belfast. Hunnam is wearing a vest with a newsboys cap, while Pattinson is seen wearing a jacket and baseball cap. Both men are sporting beards, presumably for their roles in the movie.

Meanwhile, another lucky fan caught up with Pattinson on an airplane where she was able to snap a pic of the star. “Shut the front door!!” she captioned the photo with. “Robert Pattinson on the plane!!”
