Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Reveal Name For Baby Boy — Hint: It’s Close To North [Rumor]

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have reportedly already decided on a baby name for the upcoming addition to their family. And once again they have taken inspiration from a direction.

According to a source for the Daily Mail, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will name their child Easton.

The insider told the publication, “Easton is the chosen name. It’s confirmed that the baby boy will be called Easton.”

The source went on to confirm that 38-year-old rapper Kanye West and Kim Kardashian decided this name last week so that they can start to order a hoard of presents, clothes, and nursery equipment, all of which will be emblazoned with the name.

It apparently took Kim Kardashian quite a while to be won over by the name, though. But after adjusting Kanye’s original choice, she’s been telling all of her friends and family about it. In fact, the source added that one of Kim’s sisters was blabbing about it at a recent pool party.

“Kourtney told a few girls at a Hidden Hills pool party last weekend that Kanye’s favorite name by far is ‘Easton,’ a name that Kim wasn’t hot on at first because Kanye liked simply ‘East’,” the insider continued.

However, it was Kim who eventually landed upon the name Easton, and now the pair are both overjoyed with it.

“But Kim came up with Easton and, for them, history was made,” they added.

Now, of course, this revelation needs to be taken with a heap of salt. However, if it does turn out to be true, then it will be the second time that the pair have found inspiration for their child’s name from a direction. Their daughter, North West, was born on June 15, 2013.

In the past, the 34-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has insisted that she wouldn’t try to replicate the name of her daughter with another direction-inspired moniker.

Speaking to NPR, Kim Kardashian explained that she wasn’t too fond of calling her child South.

“I don’t like South West, though, because that’s like, you know, North will always, you know, be better and be more… she has a better direction,” Kardashian insisted.

Then, in another interview with Shaquille O’Neal on the former basketball player’s podcast, Kardashian shared the same sentiments.

“Why just add another direction? Norther is the best. I don’t want to try to duplicate that with a lower direction, you know?” she detailed.
