Rob Lowe And John Stamos Have Been Dating For Years? Duo Jokes About Relationship
Rob Lowe and John Stamos jokingly shared they have been “dating for years”.
Perhaps sharing a lot more than age-defying genetics, Stamos jokingly heckled that the duo has been secretly dating each other for a long time. Though both have crossed 50, neither of the two feature age-appropriate facial features. They have an excellent onscreen presence and have been starring in sitcoms for a few decades now, without showing even the slightest indications of aging.
The cute revelation happened when Rob Lowe was at Television Critics Association summer press tour on The Grinder panel in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Thursday, Aug. 6. Incidentally, Rob Lowe and John Stamos both share a network, but are working on separate sitcoms. While Lowe is working on The Grinder, Stamos stars in Grandfathered. Hence when a reporter asked Lowe about the fact that he and network-mate Stamos are clearly immune to the ravages of time on the human body, Lowe jokingly responded that Stamos does not even belong to Jimmy Kimmel’s viral video Handsome Men’s Club.
Lowe was referring to the whimsical conference of handsome men that is congregated and presided by Kimmel. Though there are many handsome men at the table, Stamos somehow didn’t make the cut.
Interestingly, Lowe who was a member since the very beginning, commented on the anomaly,
“As a founding member of Jimmy Kimmel’s Handsome Men’s Club … I am looking forward to the time John makes it in. There’s a rumor…..”
He never got to finish his sentence because Stamos heckled him from the back of the audience urging his to come clean about their real connection.
“Rob, tell the truth, we’ve dated for years!”
Though the crowd laughed, Lowe had the last word, when he said,
“This is what journalism has become. Anyone can get credentialed!”
Stamos later revealed that he overheard Lowe being questioned and couldn’t help jumping in, reported U.S. Weekly. While Lowe was on The Grinder panel, Stamos was on the Grandfathered panel. Both have revealed that they love their characters that surprisingly relate well to their past lives. Lowe revealed that his dad still practices law at the ripe old age of 75, while one of his sons is studying law, reported People.

While The Grinder revolves around lawyers, Grandfathered is a story about a bachelor, who realizes he not only has a son, but a granddaughter as well.
