Will Smith Ranks Among Highest Paid Actors In 2015, ‘Bad Boys’ Sequels And ‘Collateral Beauty’ To Keep The Fresh Prince At Top

Will Smith has been in no mood for the rumor mill churning out falsities about a supposed pending divorce between he and Jada Pinkett-Smith. As the Inquisitr recently reported, The Enemy of the State star shut down the lies this week and indicated poignantly just how foolish the reports are by taking to Facebook.

“Under normal circumstances, I don’t usually respond to foolishness. (Because it’s contagious) But, so many people have extended me their ‘deepest condolences’ that I figured – ‘What the hell… I can be foolish, too!’So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness… Jada and I are…NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

This talented actor has got more to focus on than defending the legitimacy of his and Jada’s solid marriage. Smith has been working toward another box office hit, and he’s got a few projects on the go that should see to it that this Fresh Prince gets that job done. Recent reports indicate that Will is to replace Hugh Jackman in the film Collateral Beauty. Deadline notes that this next big pic for Me and Earl director Alfonso Gomez-Rejon will also star Rooney Mara and will begin shooting in October. Jackman is said to have “exited the project last month,” thereby leaving the leading role open for Smith.

In addition to the dramatic flick that is set to begin filming in the fall, Smith will join Martin Lawrence once again to continue the action/adventure franchise we all know and love. Slash Film relays that Bad Boys 3 andBad Boys 4 are slated to be released within two years of each other, in 2017 and 2019. Smith and Lawrence have, in the past, each made mention of the fact that they hoped for a sequel to Bad Boys 2, and it has been verified that the hilarious duo will be awarded with double of what they’d had their sights set on.

Regardless of the recent absenteeism of Will Smith in regards to box office success, we can be assured that we will once again see this versatile star, who is no stranger to blockbuster box office success, back at the top. Even though Smith has not seen a smash success in a couple years, he still manages to hover near the top of the highest paid actor’s list without much difficulty. In 2015, Smith ranks at the No. 5 spot on Forbes’ list. Way Viral shares details about the star’s earnings.

“Will Smith has been ranked as the most bankable star in the world today by Forbes Magazine. His films overall have grossed over $6.6 billion in the global box office!”

From learning what Smith has on the roster over the next few years, it’s clear he will continue to find his way onto this same list with ease.
